Water Pledge Competitive Analysis

Water Pledge is a strong combo move. Even as an individual move, this packs power with its 80 base power.

When used with Fire Pledge, the two moves will create a rainbow on the user's side of the field. This rainbow will increase the chances of activating secondary effects. Note that this stacks with Serene Grace (except for Flinching).

When used with Grass Pledge, the two moves will create a swamp that reduces the speed of all Pokemon on the opposing side of the field for four turns.
