1 | The first key is found in the room under the extractor. Look for a hole under the wooden planks and enter the room to get the first key. |
---|---|
2 | The second key is on the next building. Enter through the door near the building you just came out from, climb the ladder inside, then grab the key. |
1 | Enter the building behind the extractor and turn right. Walk to the other end and turn right again to reach the first key. |
---|---|
2 | Go back outside and climb the stairs until you find a locked door. |
3 | From the door, go around to the back of the building until you see a large hole in the wall. Climb through the hole and turn left to find the second key. |
1 | Go up the stairs next to the device and follow the wooden path until you find a door to the room beside you. Enter the room and grab the first key. |
---|---|
2 | Past the first key is a room with a Dendro Rock. In front of the rock is a hole in the ceiling that you can climb up through to reach the second key. |
1 | Climb the ladder past the extractor after starting challenge. At the top, you will see another ladder, but don't climb up this one. Instead, check the hole behind it and enter the room to get the first key. |
---|---|
2 | Exit the room and glide across to the next building. Drop down the hole and you will see the second key on the other side of the room. |
1 | The first key is in the room beneath the extractor. You can enter this room through a hole in the corner of the building. |
---|---|
2 | After retrieving the first key, exit the room and go back up through the stairs. Look for some wooden crates tucked in a corner of the other building and destroy them to find a hole leading to the room below with the second key. |
1 | To find the first key, drop down the hole right next to the extractor. |
---|---|
2 | Exit the room where the first key is and go down the slope in front of you. Follow the wooden path and you will see an open room with the second key. |
1 | Enter the room behind the extractor to find the first key. |
---|---|
2 | In the same room, go up the slope in the corner to reach the room with the second key. |
3 | Go back outside and head to the small building. Flip the switch outside to open the door where you will find a common chest and the third key. |
1 | Start the challenge then drop down the hole next to the extractor to find the first key. |
---|---|
2 | After grabbing the first key, exit the building through the hole in the next room. |
3 | You should find a ladder outside. Climb up the ladder and the stairs ahead to find another hole. Drop down to the room below and you should land next to the second key. |
4 | The third key is located two floors below the extractor. But before you hop through the hole in the corner, shoot the barrels inside to burn the Dendro mushrooms so you can safely grab the third key. |
Before you can interact with an Energy Extraction Device, you must look for control keys within the Eremite Camp. Leaving the vicinity will fail the challenge and return the keys to their original positions.
After getting all the Control Keys, go back to the Extraction Device and start the deactivation.
You must stay close to the Energy Extraction Device for the deactivation to progress. While trying to shut down the Extraction Device, enemies will appear and halt the process. You must defeat the enemies first before the deactivation resumes.
The deactivation process has a time limit, so you must be quick to defeat the enemy waves and return to the extractor each time to complete the challenge!
Strange Energy Extraction Devices (or Saghira Machines) are puzzles involving the use of control keys. These puzzles can be found in Eremite Camps in the Sumeru region.
