Version 6.0 Luna I was released on September 10, 2025, immediately following the end of Version 5.8's Phase 2. It was announced during the Nod-Krai livestream that there would be no Version 5.9, skipping directly into Version 6.0.
This estimated date is based on the Genshin Impact's usual six-week release pattern and may be subject to change.
Will There Be a Version 5.9?
Similar to the previous versions, Genshin Impact will skip Version 5.9 completely and jump straight to Version 6.0 - Luna I.

New Nod-Krai Region
Lempo Isle
A small town located in Nod-Krai that houses a lot of mechanical workshops and mechanics. It is also home to a few playable characters, such as Ineffa and Aino.
Hiisi Island
The home of the Frostmoon Scions, a vast open area with lots of hills, mountains, ruins, isolated camp sites, and communites.
Paha Isle
A Fatui-controlled place, where a huge mechanical dome is built above the sea. It is said that the dome is the headquarters of the Fatui in Nod-Krai.

The Song of the Welkin Moon Act 1 - A Dance of Snowy Tide and Hoarfrost Groves is a new Archon Quest that will be released in Version 6.0! It will be the introductory quest for Nod-Krai, including the characters involved.
