You can unlock Skirk's Story Quest Act 1, Whispers Betwixt Stars and Night, by completing Archon Quest Chapter 4: Act 5, Masquerade of the Guilty, and reaching Adventure Rank 40.
Skirk's Story Quest Act 1 Walkthrough
Sinister Undercurrent
| Objectives | |

| 1 |  Look for Baizhu at the back room of Bubu Pharmacy. To get to the back room, you need to enter via the door at the right side of the pharmacy. |
| 2 |  Teleport to Guili Plains and defeat the rifthounds at the west of the Teleport Point. |
| 3 |  Enter the Abyssal Rift and the quest will end after a cutscene. |
Special Training
| Objectives | |

| 1 |  Talk to Skirk to begin the first round of special training. For the first part of the training, you need to destroy Crystal Columns within a certain period of time. |
| 2 |  Go to the makeshift camp and rest. You need to enter the Abyssal Rift to reach the makeshift camp. |
| 3 |  Follow the strange creature for a series of cutscenes regarding Skirk. |
| 4 |  Talk to Skirk to begin the second round of special training. For the Anemo Training, use the Anemo Traveler to eliminate different kinds of Slime. |
| 5 |  For the Hydro Training, use the Hydro Traveler to destroy the floating spikes. Starting at the second stage, you must avoid attacks from the spikes. |
| 6 |  Enter the Abyssal rift again and rest. You need to follow the strange creature again for a series of cutscenes. |
| 7 |  Enter the Abyssal Rift and talk to Skirk to begin the third round of special training. Destroy a certain number of Crystal Columns and spikes within a certain period of time while avoiding attacks from Skirk and the spikes. |
| 8 |  Enter the Abyssal Rift to reach the makeshift camp. In front of the Abyssal Rift, you can find an Exquisite Chest. |
| 9 |  End the quest by going through some cutscenes. You can start the cutscenes by going to the bright spots in the area. |

| 2 |  Reach the end of the Abyssal Corridor. You need to defeat monsters and evade spikes along the way. |
| 3 |  Evade the falling spikes and the monsters as you escape the collapsing Abyss. You don't need to defeat the monsters to escape . |
| 4 |  Go to Bubu Pharmacy to rest and recuperate. You must enter the door at the right side of Bubu Pharmacy to enter the back room. |
