The Version 5.0 banners for Phase 1 are Mualani's banner debut, and Kazuha's banner rerun! Both banners are available from August 28, 2024 to September 17, 2024. Kachina, the newest 4-star Geo character, also makes her debut in Phase 1 of Version 5.0!

As for Phase 2 of Version 5.0, the featured banners are Kinich's debut release, alongside Raiden Shogun's banner rerun. Both banners are available from September 17, 2024 to October 8, 2024, immediately following the Phase 1 banners.

Travelers get to experience the lore that surrounds Natlan in the first two acts of the Chapter 5 of Archon Quests, Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn, and Black Stone Under a White Stone, will be available on the Version 5.0 update!

As revealed in the Livestream, players have the option to Quick Start playing Chapter 6 after completing the Liyue Archon Quests, and reaching AR28!

Free Kachina From Chapter 5 Act 1

Travelers will also get the newest Geo 4-star character Kachina by progressing along the Flowers Resplendent on the Stone Under a White Stone Archon Quest! Moreover, travelers will get an extra 500 Primogems from the Version 5.0. Version 5.1, and Version 5.3 archon quests once completed!

The newest Artifact Sets for Version 5.0 are the Obsidian Codex, and the Scroll of the Hero Cinder City. Both sets are likely to suit the upcoming Natlan characters best, but we'll know more once official information is available, so stay tuned!

New Artifact Salvage System

In Version 5.0 travelers will have the Artifact Salvage system, where fodder artifacts can be transmutted to Artifact EXP materials to help players level up their pieces easily. In addition, the Sanctifying Elixir is introduced to affix main stats and secondary stats to any of your chosen artifact piece!

Nightsoul's Blessing Mechanic

Characters from Natlan can communicate with Wayobs, totemic deities from Natlan that empower their interaction with the world, effectively triggering the Nightsoul's Blessing. Nightsoul's Blessing helps Natlan characters to strengthen their attacks in a unique way!

Natlan's Saurians and Tribes

There are a total of 6 Tribes in Natlan, three of which have been revealed during the Version 5.0 Livestream, namely Children of Echoes, People of the Springs, and the Scions of the Canopy. Each named tribe are represented by the Tepetlisaurus, the Koholasaurus, and the Yumkasaurus, respectively.

As mentioned during the Version 5.0 Livestream, the reputation system for each tribe in Natlan offers a slightly different mechanic, in that, interacting with Obsidian Totem Poles in each Tribe enables Travelers to play the corresponding Story Quests of the Tribe!

Doing so helps travelers understand and learn the different customs and traditions of each clan of Natlan!

Aside from the mindblowing rewards and updates, 5.0 also introduces Capturing Radiance, a fancy term that refers to having increased chances of pulling the promotional character of any given banner.

Furthermore, the Epitome Invocation Fate Point system will be reduced from 2 points to 1, effectively increasing the chances of getting your chosen 5-star weapon from the weapon banner!
