There are also Auspicious Treasure Trees that contain Fortune Coins all over Liyue Harbor. You can collect the Fortune Coins by hitting the tree repeatedly.
You can also get Fortune Coins from the event activities to expend it on various rewards listed below. Note that Fortune Coins are consumable and you will need to grind more from the daily updates to get the rest.

Free 4-Star Character for 1000 Fortune Coins
Similar to previous Lantern Rite runs, you can obtain a free 4-Star Character from Liyue of your choice by obtaining 1000 Fortune Coins from the Lantern Rite activities!
You can already obtain 1000 coins on Day 1 of its release, but also do note that spending 1000 coins will require you to grind another 1000 coins again for you to get the Yaoyao Skin and other Festive Shopping rewards.

Similar to previous Lantern Rite runs, you can obtain a free 4-Star Character from Liyue of your choice by obtaining 1000 Fortune Coins from the Lantern Rite activities!

During Lantern Rite, players can release Xiao Lanterns that contain greetings, which can drift into other players' worlds. This means you can also find a visiting Xiao Lantern in your world!
