What is Lunar-Crystallize Reaction?

Lunar Reaction with Geo and Hydro

Lunar-Crystallized Elemental Reaction
Effect When a character in the party triggers the Lunar-Crystallize reaction three times, three Moondrifts will be summoned and resonate to deal DMG near enemies.

The Lunar-Crystallize is a reaction that triggers when an enemy is affected by either Geo or Hydro from a Moon Wheel user.

When triggered three times, Three Moondrifts will spawn near the target, periodically dealing damage to enemies.

Elemental Reactions Guide and How it Works

Can Deal CRIT DMG

Genshin - Lunar-Crystallize can CRIT
Similar to other Lunar reactions, Lunar-Crystallized can deal CRIT DMG to enemies. The CRIT DMG is based on all the characters who have applied the elements.

Geo Construct Resonance

Genshin Impact - Geo Construct Lunar-Crystallize

Moondrifts are considered Geo Constructs and can resonate with them.

For instance, Zhongli's Steles can resonate with Moondrifts, dealing intermittent Geo DMG. Chiori's Tamato can also increased by 1.

Can Still Generate Crystallize

Genshin - Can Generate Crystallize

Lunar-Crystallize can still Crystallize and produce Elemental Shards from Elemental Reactions between Geo and other elements.

Because of this, Navia has great synergy with Moondrifts as it can accumulate Crystal Shrapnels for her.

How to Trigger Lunar-Crystallized

Have Columbina or Zibai

Characters with Lunar-Crystallized

To set up Lunar-Crytallized, you will need to have a Geo or Hydro Moon Wheel user in your team. As of now, Columbina and Zibai are the only ones that can trigger the reaction.

Apply Hydro or Geo

Genshin Impact - Apply Hydro

An enemy must be affected with either Hydro or Geo. An enemy is also considered affected by either Hydro or Geo when they are made of or have shields of the said elements.

Apply the Other Element

Genshin Impact - Trigger Lunar Crystallized

After an enemy has Hydro or Geo, simply attack them with the other element to trigger Lunar-Crystallized.

Zibai and Columbina

Characters with Lunar-Crystallized

Zibai or Columbina are required characters to trigger the Lunar-Crystallize reaction, as you need at least one of them in your party to trigger this reaction.

Genshin - Zhongli Icon Zhongli

Geo characters, like Zhongli and Chiori for instance, are beneficiaries of the Moondrifts as it helps provide constructs for them to resonate with.

Navia benefits by gaining more Crystallized Shards to absorb for her skill.

Illuga is the premier support for Lunar-Crystallize teams.
