How to Play Moonlit Patrol Exercise

Select a Captain to Gain Bonuses

Genshin - Captain Lineup

At the beginning of the wargame, select a captain to gain additional abilities depending on the combat unit. Each Captain has their own bonuses and abilities that enhance a specific combat unit.

Complete 10 Rounds of Wargames Against other Players

Genshin - Complete 10 Rounds of Wargames Against other Players

During the event, you will play 10 rounds of wargames against other player units. You will be given 4 combat strength, and each defeat will cost one combat strength; after all four lives have been used, the game will be over for you. The more wins you score over the course of ten rounds, the more medals you can earn.

Draw Combat Units and Formation Banner

Select Combat Units Every Round

Genshin - Select Combat Units Every Round
At the start of each round, you will be able to select combat units to use during combat. Each unit will have different types and characteristics that you can use in combat to oppose your opponent.

Select Formation Banner in Rounds 2 and 6

Genshin - Formation Banner

During Rounds 2 and 6 of every Wargame, you will receive 1 opportunity to draw a Formation Banner. Once Formation Banners are successfully equipped, Combat Units in those formations will be enhanced.

In Rounds 4 and 8, your Formation Banner(s) will receive further enhancements.

Fuse Combat Unit to Level Up

Genshin - Fuse Combat Unit to Level Up
When you draw a combat unit with the same rank and type, they will be quickly fused into a single combat unit of a higher rank. You can level up a unit until it reaches rank 3, at which point its level and combat ability increase.

Organize your Combat Unit

Genshin - Organize Your Combat Units
During the preparation phase, you will need to decide which units to deploy. Check your opponents' units and types to ensure that you can effectively counter them.

The order in which you deploy your units might also provide you with an advantage in defeating your opponent.
