With Ineffa getting released in Version 5.8 as the first character from the region, Nod-Krai will likely release one version after her.
This is quite similar to what happened when Kazuha was released during Version 1.6 and Inazuma got released next in Version 2.0.

Nod-Krai Preview Teaser
According to the Nod-Krai Preview Teaser shown in the Version 5.7 Livestream, Nod-Krai is likely to arrive soon. This is similar to what happened in the Version 4.7 Livestream, where they announced the upcoming Natlan region and it later appeared in Version 5.0.
The Nod-Krai teaser video gives us more of a glimpse of what to fully expect in Nod-Krai, including the mysterious Seelie and the voice from the female narrator at the end of it.

The Nod-Krai Livestream, Let's Start with Nod-Krai - Behind the Scenes of Genshin Impact, was aired on April 30, 2025. As they've confirmed Nod-Krai to release after Version 5.8, following the regular six-week interval, the new upcoming region is likely set to release on September 10, 2025.
This is also hinted in one of the redeem codes, NODKRAI0910, showing the same month and date at the end.

What is Nod-Krai?
Southernmost City in Snezhnaya
In the 5.1 Marvelous Merchandise event, Liben talked about the city of Nod-Krai, which is found south of Snezhnaya. He also described it as a place where ''people from all over Teyvat gather.''
Mavuika also described Nod-Krai as a land with a long history not far from Snezhnaya, near the end of the Chapter 5 Act 5 Archon Quest. In the Version 5.3 Livestream, it was described as an autonomous area in southern Snezhnaya.
Teased in the Song of the Welkin Moon
Nod-Krai has been teased multiple times in the Song of the Welkin Moon Event, especially from the quotes from the Adventurer's Guild, Fatui, Voynich Guild, Frostmoon Scions, Lightkeepers, and Hexenzirkel.
Although the quotes from each faction may be different individually, they symbolize one thing in common, which is that all the people in Teyvat will eventually gather in Nod-Krai.

According to Liben, Nod-Krai operated by its own unique rules, with the Voynich Guild being the city's version of authority. The guild had helped Liben after he was robbed on the way to the city.
Location of Il Dottore's Stronghold
In the Chapter 5 Act 5 Archon quest, Mavuika mentioned Nod-Krai in an optional dialogue. When you ask her about the next stop on your journey..., she will talk about getting reports on a Fatui squad linked to The Doctor, who has a stronghold in Nod-Krai.
Home to A Mysterious Power
Mavuika also talked about people in Nod-Krai who can harness a mysterious power that predates the seven elements. This may be related to the power that Childe's mentor, Skirk, was shown to be using in the Chapter 4 Act 5 Archon Quest.
Home to the Frostmoon Scions
In the event, On the Trail of Behemoths, the NPC named Helka talks about relics found on an island where the Frostmoon Scions gather. He described these people as 'weird', for they live in the wilds and forests.
Helka also says that the Frostmoon Scions worship a moon deity, and that he had seen them do magic.

Nod-Krai Characters
Ineffa
Ineffa is the first character in Genshin Impact who hails from Nod-Krai. She will be released on Version 5.8, a patch before the release of Nod-Krai.
Ineffa is Electro character and she wields a polearm. She is a robot designed to be a companion, but seems to be learning to make their own decisions and develop their own autonomy.

Aino
Aino is first mentioned in the Character Announcement for Ineffa. She makes her first appearance in the Version 5.8 Trailer.
Aino is the 'designer' of Ineffa and is a member of the Clink-Clank Krumkake Craftshop. During the 5.8 Livestream, she is described as 'a genius mechanic and inventor who can create all kinds of powerful machines out of nothing but scrap'.

Lauma
Lauma is a character shown in the Nod-Krai Teaser during the Version 5.8 Livestream. She is affiliated with the Frostmoon Scions.
