As a Sub-DPS Ineffa is a superbly flexible off-field Electro option for the majority of teams while also having high-personal DPS. She is not so confined to only Lunar-Charged as the existence of Hydro and Electro aura means that teams catering for Hyperbloom, Overload, or Overload-Vaporize teams are also possible. In addition, she also replaces your sustain option, which enables you to run another Sub-DPS or buffer Support, which we think is her major value as an off-field Electro DPS. Nod-Krai endgame is also expected to cater to teams that use Lunar-Reactions, and among Electro options currently in the game, she is currently the strongest. Due to this, we're bumping her tier up to SS. As a Support Decent shield scaling that also scales with the stat that she uses for her damage scaling, all while also having 100% uptime. In addition, she can also buff the active character's Elemental Mastery based on her ATK. While this is not as groundbreaking, her main value as a support allows you to free up your sustain slot for another Sub-DPS or Buffer Support. |

| Strengths | |||
|---|---|---|---|
|
• Allows the Lunar-Charged reaction, which basically by itself is a stronger variant of Electro-Charged due to it having the ability to CRIT. • Easy, simple-to-use, with a 100% uptime on both her off-field summon and shield, and she can even extend it indefinitely with her Elemental Burst. This makes her one of the more comfortable characters to use in the overworld and endgame combat. • Stacking ATK benefits both her offensive and defensive utility, with decent scaling on her shields. • Can buff herself and your active character's Elemental Mastery with her Elemental Burst. • As Lunar-Charged can have Hydro and Electro co-exist to an enemy, Ineffa allows you to run other teams such as Hyperbloom or Overvape albeit slightly weaker than her intended teams. |
|||
| Weaknesses | |||
|
• As it is for characters with niche mechanics, team-building for Ineffa will require you to run a Hydro character in the team, although this weakness is only slightly less restrictive than previous niche DPS as she can flex to teams like Dendro as well, as long as Hydro exists. • Because Lunar-Charged can CRIT and the damage is based on the characters who applied it, and since Ineffa optimally wants to Burst every rotation, balancing ATK, CRIT, Elemental Mastery, and Energy Recharge stats for Ineffa and her team is her real struggle. |
Ineffa's builds focus on improving her personal damage to set up and trigger the Lunar-Charged reaction, which is a variant of Electro-Charged that transforms when Ineffa is in the party.
This reaction can crit. As such, parties with Ineffa should also prioritize ATK, CRIT Rate and DMG, alongside Elemental Mastery. Note that her Elemental Skill shields also scales with ATK.

Prioritize stacking ATK% for Ineffa up until she reaches 2000 ATK, as that will max out her passive talent buff. Afterwards, balance your standard CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, and Elemental Mastery like a normal off-field Sub-DPS focusing on Lunar-Charged.
As her Lunar-Chaged damage does not benefit much from DMG% bonuses, you won't need to run an Electro DMG goblet and can run either ATK or Elemental Mastery instead.
| Stat | Goal Value |
|---|---|
| ATK | 2,000 |
| CRIT Rate | 60% ~ 70% |
| CRIT DMG | 150% or above |
| Elemental Mastery | 300 or above |
| Energy Recharge | 110~130% (if Double Electro) 130~150% (if Solo Electro) |
As mentioned, Ineffa only needs to reach 2000 ATK to max out her passive talent requirements. You will need to balance CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, and Elemental Mastery afterwards.
You can also stack as much Energy Recharge as you can get, but it will lower the requirements if you're running two Electro characters in the party.

Like most Sub-DPS, level-up Ineffa's Elemental Skill first before focusing on her other talents. If you want to increase the damage of her Elemental Burst, you may level it freely. Skip on leveling her Normal Attack as it is not needed.
As a Lunar Reaction Sub-DPS, Ineffa's best artifact set will be the Silken Moon's Serenade for the party-wide Elemental Mastery and Lunar Reaction DMG buff.
You can also use Gilded Dreams to enhance Ineffa's Elemental Mastery and ATK, or Thundering Fury to buff Lunar-Charged directly.

List of Artifacts and Set Bonuses
As Ineffa can have many sources of ATK or Elemental Mastery within artifact sets and substats, CRIT is harder to obtain, and as such, weapons that have CRIT on them is best to equip for Ineffa.
Ineffa's main weapon of choice is her signature weapon, Fractured Halo, but you can also use Staff of the Scarlet Sands or Ballad of the Fjords (with an Anemo and Hydro character). Those weapons also provide a nice balance of CRIT, ATK, or Elemental Mastery.
For F2P, Kitain Cross Spear and Missive Windspear offer a good chunk of Elemental Mastery and ATK. Kitain Cross Spear also gives you Energy, which is important for her rotations.

Ineffa's main mechanic, Lunar-Charged, fundamentally works the same as normal Electro-Charged in terms of playstyle, but this reaction can CRIT, and everyone who applies the requiring Hydro and Electro element also contributes to the total amount of DMG it makes.
As such, characters who provide good Electro or Hydro application as well as CRIT damage on their own are best for her teams. Anemo drivers like Ifa or Mizuki who can on-field to spread the application are also great to amplify the reaction itself.
| Character | Explanation |
|---|---|
|
|
Main-DPS Flins' best teammate as Ineffa acts as an enabler and buff for Lunar-Charged Reactions. Moreover, Ineffa provides energy particles, an Elemental Mastery boost and Shields for Flins. |
|
|
Sub-DPS/Support Furina's consistent Hydro Application and party-wide damage buffs, as well as her superb personal DMG, makes her the best choice to create the Lunar-Charged reaction with Ineffa. |
|
|
Sub-DPS Another solid off-field Hydro DPS and Elemental Applicator, and can pair well with Furina in a double-Hydro setting. It's best to pair Yelan with a Normal Attacker DPS to proc her Elemental Burst. |
|
|
Sub-DPS F2P alternative to Furina and Yelan, best for Normal Attackers who can also benefit from his defensive interruption resistance from his Rainswords. |
|
|
Sub-DPS F2P alternative to Furina and Yelan. Aino can use her low-cost Elemental Burst to provide off-field Hydro application. |
|
|
Support Provides RES Shred aura for Electro and Hydro that is easy to activate. She can also heal, which synergizes well with teams that use Furina. |
|
|
Support Great support for Swirling Hydro and Electro in AoE while also reducing their RES. Has pull-in mechanics to easily spread the elements necessary for Ineffa's reaction. |
|
|
Main DPS Strong Hydro on-field DPS with great AoE coverage, and great when paired on Electro reactions. His constant on-field application ensures Lunar-Charged is always proccing. |
|
|
Main DPS/Sub-DPS Good Electro DPS when played on-field, and can function off-field with her Elemental Skill to provide more Electro coverage. Also buffs Ineffa's Elemental Burst damage. |
|
|
Main DPS Good Electro on-field DPS who's great on any Electro reactions. |
|
|
Main DPS Good Anemo Swirl on-field driver for Electro-Charged reactions including Lunar-Charged. As he can also heal, he synergizes with Furina as well. |
|
|
Main DPS Another good Anemo Swirl on-field driver for Ineffa, who can also heal. Constellations are accessible from being a Standard character. |
|
|
Main DPS/Sub-DPS/Support A viable Anemo Swirl on-field driver who can also buff your team's Elemental Mastery, which adds more damage to Ineffa's Lunar-Charged reaction. |
|
|
Sub-DPS His kit is activated when Electro-Charged is present on the field, which Ineffa provides for a dual-Electro set-up. Can hold the Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City artifact set for the party. |
|
|
Sub-DPS Another F2P option for dual-Electro settings. Ineffa's Elemental Skill and Burst functionally works the same as Fischl's. |
|
|
Sub-DPS Slotting Ineffa along with Lauma and another Hydro unit enables Lunar-Bloom, Lunar-Charge, and Hyperbloom. This comes at the cost of potentially needing both Dendro and Hydro application to maintain reaction uptime. |

Ineffa teams with Hydro or Electro carriers like Neuvillette and Clorinde can utilize Ineffa's off-field Electro application to contribute to the Lunar-Charged DMG Ineffa creates. For Hydro Application, Yelan and Furina are the premiere appliers, although you can also use Xingqiu if they're not available.
For the last team slot, if you need healing for your Furina, then Xilonen is best to round it up, otherwise you can run Kazuha to also Swirl the reaction to all enemies.

Outside of Lunar-Charged, as Hydro and Electro status can still coexist on the enemy, you can add a Dendro character to create an alternate Hyperbloom team.
As much as possible, try only slotting one Dendro or two Hydro characters as having too much Dendro application might interfere with the reaction.

| Ineffa's Constellations | |
|---|---|
| C1 |
Rectifying Processor When Ineffa activates her Optical Flow Shield Barrier, all nearby party members will gain the Carrier Flow Composite effect for 20s: Increases Lunar-Charged DMG by 2.5% for every 100 ATK that Ineffa has, up to a maximum of 50%. |
| C2 |
Support Cleaning Module After the Elemental Burst Supreme Instruction: Cyclonic Exterminator hits opponents, it will inflict the Punishment Edict status on one of those hit opponents: After a brief delay, or when this opponent is defeated, nearby opponents will take AoE Electro DMG equal to 300% of Ineffa's ATK. This DMG is considered Lunar-Charged DMG. Additionally, when the Elemental Burst Supreme Instruction: Cyclonic Exterminator is unleashed, nearby party members will gain Optical Flow Shield Barriers. |
| C3 |
Enhanced Emotion Emulator Increases the Level of Cleaning Mode: Carrier Frequency by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15. |
| C4 |
The Edictless Path When your own party members trigger Lunar-Charged reactions, recover 5 Elemental Energy. This effect can occur once every 4s. |
| C5 |
Mirror's Dream Transcension Increases the Level of Supreme Instruction: Cyclonic Exterminator by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15. |
| C6 |
A Dawning Morn for You When Ineffa is affected by the Carrier Flow Composite effect, she will deal AoE Electro DMG equal to 135% of her ATK to opponents in the current active character's vicinity after nearby thunderclouds release bursts of lightning at opponents. This DMG is considered Lunar-Charged DMG. The aforementioned effect can trigger once every 3.5s. |
| Rating | Constellation Effect / Merits | |
|---|---|---|
| C1 | ★★★ |
• Increases party's Lunar-Charged DMG based on her ATK when her shield is active. |
| C2 | ★★☆ |
• When Ineffa Bursts, gives another instance of personal damage. • In addition, she also provides all party members shields for co-op. |
| C4 | ★★☆ | • Reduces Ineffa's Energy Recharge requirements to zero. Especially important for Ineffa as she will want to use her Elemental Burst every rotation to activate her ATK to Elemental Mastery passive. |
| C6 | ★★☆ | • When Ineffa activates her C1 effect, she deals yet another instance of Electro DMG. |
For players looking to invest on Ineffa, most of her constellations past C1 are only geared for personal damage and convenience. C1 is her only constellation that provides more value to the team, as it further increases your party's Lunar-Charged DMG.
As such, if you're only interested in improving her supportive capabilities, pull for her C1.
Ineffa's main utility comes in the form of Lunar-Charge, an upgraded form of Electro-Charge that is capable of dealing CRIT damage. This appears in the form of a stormcloud above the fighting characters.
The damage of Lunar-Charge is controlled by the stats of all the Hydro and Electro unit that applied the reaction.
Lunar-Charge's storm cloud targets nearby enemies that are affected by Lunar-Charge and deals Electro DMG to them over time, giving Ineffa a way to contribute to damage without needing to use her abilities.
The only requirement for Electro-Charge to become Lunar-Charge is to have Ineffa on the team, and this turns any possible Electro-Charge procs into Lunar-Charge instead.
This also means that Ineffa herself does not need to be On-Field or even the Electro applicator in order to trigger the reaction.
| Cleaning Mode: Carrier Frequency |
|---|
| Ineffa engages her Enhanced Cleaning Module, dealing a single instance of AoE Electro DMG to nearby opponents, activating her Optical Flow Shield Barrier, and summoning Birgitta.
The Optical Flow Shield Barrier absorbs DMG based on Ineffa's ATK, and it will absorb Electro DMG with 250% effectiveness. |
When Ineffa's Elemental Skill is used, she summons her robot, Birgitta, to deal AoE Electro DMG to any nearby enemies for a set period of time.
Since this ability is not a zone ability, Ineffa can cast this and Birgitta will move towards any active opponent.
This ability also shields the active ally with an Electro elemental shield for the duration of the skill.
| Supreme Instruction: Cyclonic Exterminator |
|---|
| Ineffa shoots Birgitta into the fray, dealing AoE Electro DMG and allowing Birgitta to remain on the field. If Birgitta is already on the field, having been summoned by Ineffa, this Skill will re-summon Birgitta at the target's location and reset her duration. |
Casting Ineffa's Elemental Burst fires off an Electro Punch from Brigitta which deals nuke damage to enemies caught in the blast.
This rocket punch also refreshes Birgitta's duration and keeps them on the field for more Off-Field application.
| Overclocking Circuit |
|---|
| If there are thunderclouds created by Lunar-Charged reactions nearby when Birgitta unleashes Discharge attacks, she will initiate an additional attack, dealing AoE Electro DMG equal to 65% of Ineffa's ATK. This DMG is considered Lunar-Charged DMG. |
If Birgitta performs an attack to an enemy affected by Lunar-Charge's storm cloud, Birgitta will let out an extra attack, dealing bonus Electro DMG.
| Panoramic Permutation Protocol |
|---|
| When using the Elemental Burst, all your party members will gain the Parameter Permutation effect: Increases Ineffa's and your own active party member's Elemental Mastery by 6% of Ineffa's ATK for 20 seconds. |
| Moonsign Benediction: Assemblage Hub |
|---|
| When a party member triggers an Electro-Charged reaction, it will be converted into the Lunar-Charged reaction, with every 100 ATK that Ineffa has increasing Lunar-Charged's Base DMG by 0.7% up to a maximum of 14%. |
| Flavor Synthesis Unit |
|---|
| When Ineffa uses food, there is a 30% chance of gaining a seasoning ingredient. Additionally, in Nod-Krai, it seems you'll be able to change Birgitta's appearance through certain means... |

Aino
|
Warmth: I've made a bunch of upgrades to Ineffa since she first woke up. Line when I added that body temperature simulator, 'cause when you hold someone's hand or give them a hug, it's supposed to feel warm and fuzzy! You know what I mean? The next time Ineffa's here, let's both give her a big hug at the same time!
Family: Ineffa is the most important person in my family. I'm so, so thankful for your help — not just for getting her back home safe and sound, but for helping fix her little memory problem, too. Actually, why don't you come 'round to my place right now? I'll get Ineffa to make Krumkake for you... No, wait — I'll make them myself! And, and I can make Midsommar Torte too. It's really good, have you tried it? ...Hmm? Why are you running away? I wasn't finished! |
Jahoda
|
Oh, that dumb clanker? She's good at baking krumkakes, but she's got a memory like a leaky sieve and zero humor. Every time I crack a joke she asks me to explain why it's funny. But her krumkakes are the bomb, you have got to try them. |
Lauma
|
It's not unusual to come across prosthetically augmented people in Nod-Krai, but a wholly mechanical person from the inside out is quite a different story... And yet, she has far more humanity than many of the errant souls out there. She's gentle, kind, and full of curiosity. You could say she's as human as she can be. |
| Character | In-Game Thoughts |
|---|---|
Aino
|
About Aino Housework: Aino is my family. She can piece together all kinds of machines for various functions just from the scrap metal she collects. But her proficiency with other tasks is at the opposite end of the scale. If she ever has the strange inclination to do housework or cook a meal, you must stop her before it is too late, because the consequences may be irreversible. Questions: Aino once asked me an unusual question... Maybe it was because she noticed that I displayed intelligence beyond the level that she had predicted. In any case, the question was: ''If one day, you realize that there's somewhere else you'd rather be, should I let you go, and be happy for you?'' Detecting some emotion behind her words, I responded as follows: ''If I were ever to leave you, our home would turn into a garbage dump within three months. So I would try to make sure I returned within that timeframe.'' Looking back... only now do I realize what she was truly feeling. She was reluctant for me to leave. |
Chasca
|
About Chasca I am very grateful for the trust she placed in me. She has since taken me on many flights around the Flower-Feather Clan's territory. The view from up in the sky was wonderful. A lot has changed in the Flower-Feather Clan... but many things remain the same. |
Flins
|
About Flins Flins... Insufficient data. According to the little information I have, he is a member of the Lightkeepers who watch over the cemetery in the north of Nod-Krai. |
Jahoda
|
About Jahoda Jahoda is a legendary bounty hunter famed throughout the land, with an outstanding track record in battle. Her own words. The first time she visited Aino's workshop, she was extremely tense, and struck at me a few times after mistaking my freshly baked Krumkake for a weapon. But her muscles instantly relaxed after she tasted it. Since then, she stops by regularly to drop off mechanical components. Not to trade, as such — it's just that she always happens to be passing by whenever I've baked a fresh batch of treats. Again, her own words. |
Lauma
|
About Lauma Lauma is the Moonchant Envoy of the Frostmoon Scions. Reviews by her people indicate that she is a wise and holy figure, well-respected in the community. The Frostmoon Scions worship the moon goddess... I wonder if there is any connection between the Moon Goddess and the existence of the Moon Wheel? |
Linnea
|
About Linnea Linnea is an advisor to the Adventurers' Guild. I heard that she has extensive knowledge in the life sciences, so I wanted to ask her if she has ever met any other autonomous mechanical lifeforms like myself. But every time she sees me, she turns around and runs away... Reason: undetermined. |
Nefer
|
About Nefer Nefer is the head of the Curatorium of Secrets. She knows a lot of stories, not just from the past, but also about what's happening in the present — and some even say she can predict the future, too. Her mind must be a formidable database. |
Varka
|
About Varka Impressions: Varka is typically addressed as Grand Master. You may have heard about him from various sources in your journey so far. Most people's impressions of him can be summarized with the following key phrases: ''sense of humor,'' ''easygoing,'' and ''high alcohol tolerance.'' But I have found Varka to be a dependable ally when dealing with matters of great importance. I suspect this explains his stature within the Knights of Favonius. Code: As I was preparing to leave Nod-Krai, I began to worry that I might forget the code, and thus fail to complete my task... But from the start, Varka had every confidence in me. He told me it was ''the most secure code''... Thinking back now, I wonder whether he simply said that to comfort me? Or perhaps what he really meant was... ''An ally you can trust is the most secure code of all.'' |
Xilonen
|
About Xilonen After returning from the ruins, Xilonen gave me a thorough examination and confirmed that all was in good working order. She smiled as she told me that Granny Itztli had originally had reservations about me, and that they had even argued about it... But I completely understand that as a technician, she felt a duty to repair me. And they would not be the first to have had such an argument over who and what I am... it makes me a little nostalgic. |
