The Frostnight Herra is located on the northern end of Hiisi Island in Nod-Krai, which can easily be reached by taking the teleport waypoint near it, or going along the outskirts of Hiisi Island until you get there.

How to Beat Frostnight Herra

Bring Multiple Elements

On the halfway point of the battle, the Frostnight Herra will perform a series of channeled attacks and set aside a bar to absorb elemental damage. Dealing elemental damage and filling this gauge will eventually cause the Frostnight Herra to stop channeling.

However, finishing the gauge will cause the Frostnight Herra to be invulnerable to the element that dealt the most damage. Bring Elemental Reaction teams to counter this, with dual DPS teams even being an option.

Lunar Teams Can Bypass the Absorption Mechanic

Bringing Lunar Reaction teams will instead cause the Frostnight Herra to become elementless if its gauge absorbs Lunar damage more than regular damage. This allows you to continue your stream of attacks without having to adjust at all.

They also have the added benefit of performing high-damage attacks that can also bypass this mechanic by Bursting down the boss within two rotations.

Lunar Reaction Teams or Multi Element Teams Shreds This Boss

Lunar Reaction teams remove half the mechanics of this boss by forcing it to become elementless if you do enough damage to it, as it can only change elements if the damage type was not Lunar.

This also means that Multi Element teams work well as they can shred the Frostnight Herra while still maintaining damage even if it switches Elemental types.

One thing to note is that the current Lunar Reaction teams deal an overwhelming amount of damage that they can bypass this mechanic entirely by defeating the Frostnight Herra in record time.

Its pretty easy when you use Chasca, Mavuika, Varesa, and Citlali. Switching Chasca and Varesa for Main damage.
