Effect | A Fire-type attack that Gigantamax Centiskorch use. This move traps opponents in flames for four to five turns. |
G-Max Centiferno is the signature move of Gigantamax Centiskorch. If Gigantamax Centiskorch knows any Fire-type damaging move, that move will be replaced with G-Max Centiferno while the Pokemon is Gigantamaxed.
G-Max Centiferno is a trapping move that works similarly to Fire Spin. In addition to the damage, this move also prevents the target from switching out.
Because G-Max Centiskorch was never a popular choice, this move was often used in stall teams. You'd trap the strongest opposing Pokemon and try to whittle it down your allied Pokemon's Toxic.
G-Max Centiferno's Power, Category and PP are determined by its Base Move. Its Category and PP will match that of the Base Move, while the Power is determined according to the table below.
