Lava Plume Competitive Analysis

Lava Plume is a strong damaging Fire-type move especially in Doubles where it hits both the opposing Pokemon. Additionally, this move has a 30% chance to inflict Burn onto the target.

Because of the ability to deal damage to both opposing Pokemon, Groudon usually runs this move as coverage. Not only does it deal with Grass and Ice-type Pokemon, but this move gets stronger due to the harsh sunlight Groudon brings thanks to Drough.

Lava Plume Locations

Lava Plume can only be learned via Level Up or by Default.
