Competitive Analysis

Blizzard remains to be a staple move with its secondary effect of having a 10% chance to freeze all foes.

While the base power does a lot of damage, you will have to balance this out by its relatively lower accuracy however. Therefore, your strategy should consider having a strong attack at the expense of accuracy.

During a Hailstorm however, the accuracy of this move increases to 100%, thus making it viable for Ice-type teams. Suggested Blizzard users include Alolan Ninetales and Abomasnow - both of which can set up Hail by switching in with their Snow Warning Ability.
