Complete the Prerequisite Quest

Unlock Into the Deepwater Murk by completing Act 3 of the Chapter 4 Archon Quest, To the Stars Shining in the Depths! This subquest immediately follows the events of the previous Act of Fontaine's Archon Quest!

Talk to Paimon

After completing To The Stars Shining in the Depths Archon Quest, talk to Paimon on your quarters in the Dormitory Block.

Investigate freely

After that, investigate freely by going to three different locations to talk to three different groups of people. This will help you gain more intel about what's happening in the Fortress.

Go to the production zone to search for Lyney

Afterwards, go to the production zone to search for Lyney then talk to him. Both of you will exchange information, and deliberate what your next steps are.

Enter the Infirmary to obtain intelligence

Once you've decided what to do next, go to the infirmary and enter it to obtain intelligence. A cutscene will commence where the Traveler and Paimon investigates the infirmary.

Return to the dormitories

Once you're done speaking with Sigewinne, return to the dormitories and talk to Paimon there again.
