The Duskbloods is a multiplayer action game designed for the Nintendo Switch 2, created by the studio that brought us Dark Souls, Bloodborne and Elden Ring. Stepping into the cursed bodies of the Bloodsworn, players will wield unnatural power granted by their special blood, clashing in a desperate bid for "First Blood", a term that remains mysterious but seems central to both the narrative and gameplay loop.

Gameplay Overview
According to an official press release, The Duskbloods will blend both PvP (player versus player) and PvE (player versus environment) gameplay into a seamless online experience. In an interview with Nintendo, game director Hidetaka Miyazaki emphasized that at its core, the title is an online multiplayer-focused project, designed to support a wide range of playstyles. Players will step into the role of “Bloodsworn,” individuals who have acquired supernatural abilities through a rare and potent blood source reminiscent of vampiric lore.
Players will be able to choose from a diverse cast of characters—each fully customizable in appearance, abilities, and combat loadouts. Movement itself is crafted to feel smooth and empowering, with features such as sprinting, super jumps, and double jumps available by default. These core mechanics are further enhanced by each character’s signature weapons and unique skills, offering a sandbox of experimentation and expressive gameplay.
