To unlock Kingdom Through the Looking-Glass, you must have completed the previous subquest of Ann of the Narzissenkreuz, The Narzissenkreuz Adventure!
The Narzissenkreuz Adventure Quest Guide
The Kingdom Through the Looking-Glass quest starts inside the tower you unlocked at the end of the previous quest. This first objective is quite long, so we'll divide it into sub-sections below!
No other paths are available in this area until you complete the objective, so keep following the corridor until the story advances.
Move to the gate on the other side to find a mechanism called Water Volume Detection Crystal. These can be activated by continuously applying Hydro until it glows.
If you don't have any Hydro character with you, you can instead collect the three Hydrograna nearby and stay close to the crystal until the gate unlocks.
Use the portal that appears to beam you straight to the next room.
Turn right and open the gate using the mechanism beside it. You can leave the Armored Crab alone here. It won't attack you unless provoked.
Beam through the portal to reach the next room with a lone Bubbler Seahorse inside. Defeat it to unlock the gate on your right.
The next portal will transport you to the next area with a Bubble Formation in the middle. Use the pillars for cover or simply dodge the Mist Bubbles as you close in to the bubble and grab the Hydrogranum inside it.
Follow the corridor and open the Exquisite Chest containing the usual items and a Green Feather Accessory. Past the door it unlocks is the room where the quest started.
Yes, you just did a full circle in this mysterious underground ruins. Stand on the strange glowing platform at the center again to proceed.
Go through the first gate again, now with an additional Water Volume Detection Crystal, and reach the room where the Holy Blade is.
Use the Green Feather Accessory you picked up to remove the barrier and obtain the Jobberwock's Holy Sword.
Do not turn back and instead keep following the path ahead until you get back to the starting area. There will also be an additonal Armored Crab to ignore and another Bubbler Seahorse to defeat on your way back.
Strange. You passed through the same rooms but entered the starting room through a different door.
When the dialogue choices appear again, pick the new one with the quest mark, "Someone" wants this tale of adventure to never end, to advance the objective.
Now, instead of going through the gate with the detection crystals, turn right, go down the elevator, and circle around the ruins. You should find a portal in the room where the Bubble Formation was that will finally complete this objective.
If you find yourself stuck in the story loop, we recommend immediately retracing your steps, instead of riding the elevator to reach the first chamber. This allows you to activate the tile, and obtain the second Holy Sword!
Keep following the objective marker until you reach the sword room again. Unseal the sword with the Green Feather Accessory and grab the Holy Blade of Narzissenkreuz.
Return to the first room and step before the glowing tile to open the "Path Forward".
Oh, so you're actually still climbing the tower and it just happens that the rooms and corridors look exactly similar! Cool.
Jump down the portal below to warp to a different area in the ruins.
You are now against the antagonist of the story: the Evil Dragon Narcissus! It doesn't look like your usual dragon but... it doesn't matter! Time to put this story to its conclusion.
Unlike Rhodeia of Loch, this Oceanid can be attacked directly, but melee characters will have trouble hitting it as it's often floating above you.
It will spawn Hydro Mimics at one point during the fight. Like Rhodeia, defeating each of the mimics will take out a chunk off its health.
After the battle, grab the contents of the Precious Chest and move on through the door behind it. This path will lead you to a study and your next objective.
Examine the five glowing books in the room to find the book you're actually looking for. Interact with the picture book with the quest marker to complete the quest.
Kingdom Through the Looking-Glass is a subquest of the quest, Ann of the Narzissenkreuz, where Ann and her team of adventurers band together to defeat the dragon Narcissus and rescue Princess Lyris!
Kingdom Through the Looking-Glass is the second part of the Ann of the Narzissenkreuz world quest chain.

I hate this quest line. When you get to the part where you keep moving ahead it’s just over and over and over again. It makes the gameplay boring and repetitive and feels like a giant waste of time.
