Pursuit Quest Location
Canotila's Cavern
Pursuit is located inside the Book of Revealing in Canotila's Cavern. You can go to Canotila's cavern by directly teleporting the Book of Revealing's icon in the map, or you can go there from A Warm Very Place!

You can unlock Pursuit by completing Through the Looking Glass quest! You also need to adjust your in-game clock by two days to get the Quest Marker on the Book of Revealing!

Pursuit Part 1 Walkthrough
Enter the world of Meditation
Two days following the events from the Through the Looking Glass Quest, you find that Canotila is nowhere to be found. Enter the world of Meditation through the Book of Revealing to see if she's there.
Pursue the figure
As soon as you step foot on the world of Meditation through the Book of Revealing, you'll see Caterpillar across the room. You won't be able to walk towards him at first, as there's a barrier between you, so walk around it to get close.
How to Pursue the Figure

| 1 |  Once you've reached the far-end of the room, the barrier changes in size. Trace your steps back, and you should see that the barrier surrounding the stairs is no longer there. Use the stairs to go the upper level. |
| 2 |  From the stairs, make a sharp turn to your right until you see a glowing item. Pick the thing up, which later reveals itself as a Fallen Bouquet. |
| 3 |  Then, head back the direction of stairs again, where you'll see Caterpillar standing by the ledge. He will immediately disappear as you approach him, so press on. |
| 4 |  Use the Fallen Bouquet to operate the switch to your left, to open the hatch that leads to the upper floor of the ruins. Go up to see Caterpillar standing in the middle of the space, with another barrier surrounding him. |
| 5 |  Enter the nearby Looking Glass to get teleported inside the barrier where Caterpillar is standing! |
Talk to the figure
Talk to the figure for a brief moment, until he transforms to some kind of a light. Pursue the light entity using the Wind Currents, as it tries to lead you somewhere!
Talk to Paimon
Once you've arrived at the platform talk to Caterpillar again. After a few while, get out of the world, and talk to Paimon about what happened.
Pursuit Part 2 Walkthrough
Talk to Canotila
To unlock Pursuit Part 2, adjust your in-game clock again for two days. Then, enter the World of Meditation once more, where you'll immediately see Canotila.
Continue the pursuit
After talking to Canotila, continue the pursuit by jumping towards the next floating platform. You can see her standing to your left, beside a broken column. She then disappears after your conversation.
Fight
Continue forward, then jump on the platform below you. There's a barrier surrounding the space inside the ruins, but simply use the nearby Looking Glass to get inside. As soon as you step inside, an Anemo Hilichurl Rogue will attack you. Fight.
Continue the pursuit
The fight will quickly ends halfway through, and the barrier also disperses. Enter the nearby Rift to get the transported to the platform above, just few paces away from Canotila. After talking to her, she then disappears again.
Continue the pursuit
Enter the Rift again to go to the next area. You'll see Caterpillar encased in another barrier, which you can easily get breach by using the nearby Looking Glass.
However, using the Looking Glass won't immediately teleport you inside Caterpillar's space. It will first teleport you in a platform-less location, which you must simply traverse by walking forward.
Fight
As you run straight ahead, you momentarily fall, but a Wind Current will catch you, and carry you right in front of another Looking Glass. Enter the glass, and prepare to fight another Anemo Hilichurl Rogue.
Go toward where the sound is coming from
Pillars of wind currents will suddenly appear all over the place to easily go toward where the sound is coming from.
Simply hop from one current to another, making sure that the next current is higher than your previous one. This will ensure that you can safely reach the platform without having to climb any ruin, and losing stamina in the process!
Fight
After landing on the floating platform, fight the Anemo Hilichurl Rogue once more, this time, uninterrupted. After defeating the Hilichurl Rogue, talk to Canotila, who's visibly afraid because of the monster.
Awaken
Once you're done discussing what's happening in the world of Meditation, awaken, to get back to Canotila's cavern in A Very Warm Place. Talk to Canotila again, to finish the quest!
