How to Unlock Foggy Forest Path

Investigate the Stone Tablet at Marcotte Station

You can unlock Foggy Forest Path by interacting with a stone tablet on one of the fountains in Marcotte Station. A cutscene will play afterwards and you will trigger the Foggy Forest Path World Quest!

Foggy Forest Path Walkthrough

Search for the Foggy Forest Path

After the dialogue with Paimon, head to the Foggy Forest Path in Erinnyes Forest. From Fountain of Lucine, head southeast and follow the path until you see the Teleport Waypoint.

Go Deeper Into Foggy Forest Path

Head down further the path until you see a big, glowing tree and an altar under it. Activate the Teleport Waypoint and head to the altar, then interact with it. A dialogue with Paimon will play right after.

Reveal the Altar's Secrets

After the dialogue with Paimon, you need to solve three Harmonious Reed Pipe puzzles to reveal what the altar has to offer. These puzzles can be solved with the use of Dew Bubbles and the Xenochromatic Ball Octopus ability, lent to you by pillars with blue orbs on them.

How to Reveal the Altar's Secrets

Solve the First Harmonious Reed Puzzle

The first puzzle is located just north of the glowing tree and the altar. Remove the Contaminated Bacterial Mats first using the Ball Octopus' ability. Once the Dew Branch is activated, you can then use the bubbles to activate the Harmonious Reeds in order.

Combine the Dew Bubbles to Activate Reeds

For this puzzle, you need to combine the two Dew Bubbles to activate the Harmonious Reeds simultaneously. Combine the bubbles and push the big bubble into the middle of the three reeds, then pop it.

Once the puzzle is done, the glowing tree will get its first glowing orb! You can then head over to the second Harmonious Reed puzzle.

Solve the Second Harmonious Reed Puzzle

The second puzzle is located just southeast of the glowing tree and the altar, down by the small stream. Once again, remove the Contaminated Bacterial Mats first using the Ball Octopus' ability so the Dew Branch will be activated.

Move Bubbles to Activate Reeds in Sequence

For this puzzle, you need to move the two Dew Bubbles just right so that their explosion radius overlaps with each other. Pop the right bubble first so it sets off the left bubble and activates the reeds in order.

Once the puzzle is done, the glowing tree will get its second glowing orb! You can then head over to the third Harmonious Reed puzzle.

Solve the Third Harmonious Reed Puzzle

The third puzzle is located northwest of the glowing tree and the altar, near a small waterfall. Remove the Contaminated Bacterial Mat first using the Ball Octopus' ability and defeat the slimes that spawn after so you can start solving the puzzle.

Overlap Bubbles to Activate Reeds in Sequence

For this puzzle, you need to move the two Dew Bubbles again so that their explosion radius overlaps. Pop the bubble near the waterfall first so it sets both the reed near it and the other bubble, which then activates the remaining reeds.

Once the puzzle is done, the glowing tree will get its third glowing orb! Head back to the altar beneath the tree.

Examine the Item on the Altar

Back at the altar, interact with the glowing object you see on top of it. This will trigger a dialogue between you and Paimon. Pahsiv will show up out of nowhere, introduce herself, and tell you about the issue Erinnyes Forest is facing.

Once the dialogue is done, you will receive a Teardrop Key and complete the Foggy Forest Path World Quest!

Foggy Forest Path is a subquest of the quest, The Wild Fairy of Erinnyes, where you'll meet Pahsiv and help her find all three Teardrop Keys to cleanse the thing that plagues the forest and restore Erinnyes Forest to its former glory!
