How to Unlock Within the Depths of Erinnyes

Unlocked After Obtaining All Three Teardrop Keys

Within the Depths of Erinnyes is automatically unlocked after obtaining all three Teardrop Keys from the Foggy Forest Path, Wilting Weeping Willow, and Furious Mouth of the Spring World Quests which are all part of The Wild Fairy of Erinnyes quest line!

Within the Depths of Erinnyes Walkthrough

Go Back to Marcotte Station

After obtaining all three Teardrop Keys, head back to Marcotte Station. Go back to the square and approach the fountain where a cutscene between you, Paimon, and Pahsiv will play. Finish the dialogue and she will ask you to place all three Teardrop Keys in the statues.

How to Get to Fontaine and Map Guide

Insert the Waterdrop Keys into the Statues

After the dialogue with Pashiv, interact with the statue and insert the Teardrop Key. The statue order does not matter and do this for the other two statues around the fountain as well.

Enter the Secret Passage Under the Square

Once all the keys are inserted, the fountain will reveal a secret passage in the middle of it which you can enter. Jump down the secret passage and you'll land in the water.

Go Deeper Into the Passage

Dive in the water to see more of the passage and make your way down until you reach the very bottom of the passage. Here, you'll see a portal that you can take to proceed even further.

Loot the Luxurious Chest

Also at the very bottom of the passage, a Luxurious Chest would be present. Don't forget to take it before going into the portal! If you forget, you can always go back to the area and take it.

Swim Further Into the Passage

After taking the portal, swim further and then finally swim to the surface. You will see a Teleport Waypoint and the roots of the Weeping Willow. A cutscene will play and Pahsiv will tell you about the filth plaguing the roots.

Cleanse the Filth Near the Root

After Pahsiv's explanation, you need to cleanse the filth near the roots by taking out the Root-Consuming Tumor. There are small Rift Hounds around the area as well, so defeat them first before taking on the tumor.

To get rid of the tumor, you need to remove the Contaminated Bacterial Mats scattered around by using the Ball Octopus' ability since they protect the tumor from damage. Once they're gone, you can start damaging the tumor.

Continue Cleansing the Filth

After reaching a certain HP percentage, a cutscene will play where there will be more impurities spawning. Pahsiv will boost your power and now you're able to damage multiple impurities at once! Once again, clear out the small impurities first so you can damage the tumor.

Continue cleansing until the tumor is gone and another cutscene will play.

Repel the Rifthounds

While talking with Pahsiv, an arcane formation will appear on the ground and Rifthounds will start pouring out of two portals. A Vishap will also appear and help you during battle!

Rifthounds will appear in waves, so defeat Rifthounds until they stop appearing and another cutscene will play.

Go With the Flow

The ground will start shaking which then teleports you into a water current. Just go with the flow of the current until you reach the surface. Once you reach the surface, another cutscene will play.

Talk with Pahsiv Again

On the surface, the tree is back to its normal, pristine condition. Pahsiv will appear with treasure chests in the water and you both talk once more. After a moment, she disappears and leaves you with your rewards!

The Within the Depths of Erinnyes does not give you any rewards for clearing the quest, but instead leaves you with a Common, Exquisite, and Precious Chest as individual rewards. You also get boxes that give Mora as a bonus!

After completing the quest, you can find Pahsiv inside a cave northeast of Loch Urania. Talk to her and you will unlock her shop, where she sells items like Lakelight Lily for Tidalga. Items in this shop do not refresh.

Bring Foggy Forest Branches to Pahsiv

Additionally, Pahsiv will ask you to bring Foggy Forest Branches to her. These branches are scattered all over Erinnyes Forest. If you give her all six, she will reward you with Primogems and other materials!
