How to Unlock Game of the Rich

Go to the Fortress of Meropide

You can unlock Game of the Rich by going inside the Fortress of Meropide, either by being caught by searchlight, or by swimming through the hole just beside the underwater waypoint near the Fortress!

Two Options to Unlock the Quest

Before starting Game of the Rich, you will be prompted to select whether you want to continue doing the quest chain, or proceed doing the Archon Quest instead, as you cannot proceed with either of them at the same time.

The walkthrough below started right off the bat without progressing through the Act 3 of Chapter 4 of the Archon Quest!

Talk to Darcy

After getting inside the Fortress of Meropide and talking to the receptionist, Monglane, talk to Darcy in the Administrative Area of the Fortress. He would give you a brief tour of the place.

Go see Estienne with Darcy

After a few while, go see Estienne with Darcy, and listen to their discussion about Coupon Millionaire. Lanoire eventually joins in the conversation. Soon after, Noailles bids the group to disperse.

Talk to the little girl

Once done, talk to Lanoire who's just waiting nearby. After a brief introduction with her and talking about Cater, go on an adventure with Lanoire. This just simply means touring around the Administrative Area with the little girl!

Eat at the Coupon Cafeteria with Lanoire

Your adventure with Lanoire ends with a free Welfare Meal at the Coupon Cafeteria. But because the free meal doesn't look too appetizing, go to the Rag and Bone Shop with Lanoire.

Talk to Alvard

Talk to Alvard and let Lanoire buy everything from his shop. After eating your fill, and placing yourself in a good mood, find Cater in the dormitory block.

Talk to Cater

Once inside the block, talk to Cater and discuss how winning the Coupon Millionaire is crucial to sending Lanoire home. Afterwards, take a break nearby.

Look for Caterpillar and Lanoire

After waking up, look for Caterpillar and Lanoire, which are just outside the Cater's room. Both are with Estienne and Noailles, where the latter is interrogating Cater for his nonexistent criminal records.

Talk to Caterpillar

Talk to Caterpillar about your plans to win the Coupon Millionaire. He confirms if you're still willing to help Lanoire win the Coupon Millionaire, to send her home outside the Fortress of Meropide.

Obtain Credit Coupons for Day 1

To get you started with winning Coupon Millionaire, you need to obtain Credit Coupons that are more than the amount of what your rivals have made after the final tally!

How to Obtain Credit Coupons for Day 1

	Objectives
1	To obtain Credit Coupons (x300) for Day 1, you need to complete the first quest of Scenes from Life in Meropide, Safe Operation. Go to the abandoned production zone to get started!
2	After getting in the production zone, you need to operate the drive valve to open access to Supply Warehouse 1.
3	To operate the drive valve to open access to Supply Warehouse 1, you need to match the alignment of the Core Gear Drive (inner arm) and the Gear Drivetrain (outer arm), and have them face Southeast.
4	To do this, remove the Gear Drivetrain from the northwest slot, and run the drive valve until the Core Gear Drive, and the Gear Drivetrain matches. Luckily, the drivetrain for this puzzle is fixed, so you have to run, and wait for the core gear drive to face southeast!
5	Afterwards, climb the ladder and head towards the Supply Warehouse 1. Install the Gear Drivetrain you picked up from the drive valve a while ago, and install it on the nearest drive valve mechanism.
6	Once the drivetrain is installed, run the valve using the nearby Transfer Terminal, and wait for the drivetrain to face the locked door. The door should open once the drivetrain is pointing towards its direction.
7	Head inside the Supply Warehouse and talk to Mitul. After a few while, obtain the 280 Credit Coupons from him, and another 30 from the nearest Common Chest!

Credit Coupons Locations and How to Use

Meet back at the usual place

After getting your first 310 Credit Coupons, meet back at the usual place, inside Cater's room in the dormitory block. Talk to Caterpillar about your progress, then take a break nearby.

Obtain Credit Coupons for Day 2

On the next day, obtain Credit Coupons by doing the same thing, which is completing Scenes from Life in Meropide quests!

How to Obtain Credit Coupons for Day 2

	Objectives
1	To obtain Credit Coupons (x300) for Day 2, you need to complete the second quest of Scenes from Life in Meropide, Dead End. Go outside the dormitory block, turn left, and walk forward until you see Galvaryet!
2	After talking to Galvaryet, find Clynes near the Rift of Erosion. Simply climb up the ladder few steps away from Galvaryet's right and walk inside the tunnel. There is also a common chest to your left that has 30 Credit Coupons. Don't forget to pick it up!
3	Continue treading forward after climbing the set of ladders, until you happen upon Galvana, sister to Galvaryet. Use the stairs behind her to reach Clynes!
4	After talking to him, help Clynes operate the terminal. To do this, get the charging device first from behind the stairs you descended from, and install it to the terminal above!
5	Talk to Clynes afterwards, and obtain the 280 Credit Coupons from him. With the 30 you've gotten from chest on your way there, you should have 310 Credit Coupons for Day 2!

Meet back at the usual place

Just like with Day 1, meet back at the usual place inside Cate's room. On your way there however talk to Rave, who is waiting just outside the dormitory block.

Talk to Caterpillar

Once done, talk to Caterpillar again and update your progress. The tally for Day 2 places the Kids' Team third out of the four teams, which concerns Paimon, but Cater convinces her otherwise! Afterwards, take a break nearby again to start Day 3!

Obtain Credit Coupons for Day 3

For Day 3, obtain Credit Coupons again by completing Scenes from Life in Meropide quests! There are three of these you can finish in Day 3, which gives you a total of 840 Credit Coupons!

How to Obtain Credit Coupons for Day 3

	Objectives
1	To obtain Credit Coupons from Scenes From Life in Meropide, Fists of Fury, you have to talk to Nizami in the Rag and Bone Shop. Defeat him in a spar, and get 280 Credit Coupons from him!
2	To obtain Credit Coupons from Scenes From Life in Meropide, A Raw Deal, head to the Mail Room, which is the entrance after the tunnel going to the Rift of Erosion, and help December send a letter by queueing up for him! Once the letter has been sent, get 280 Credit Coupons from him!
3	To obtain Credit Coupons from Scenes From Life in Meropide, Treat the Symptoms, look for Lechlade, located to the right of the Waypoint in the Production Zone. After hearing his story, talk to Arderne, and get a Pure Water from him to give to Lechlade! Receive 280 Credit Coupons from him, afterwards!

Meet back at the usual place

After reaping all 840 Credit Coupons for Day 3, meet back at the usual place. Noailles is also waiting inside Cater's room, continuing to ask about what you know about Cater. Once done, the third tally is up, with the Kids Team placing third again!

Obtain Credit Coupons for Day 4

After you take a break nearby, obtain Credit Coupons again for Day 4. To obtain Credit Coupons for Day 4, complete two Scenes From Life in Meropide quests to get a total of 560 coupons!

How to Obtain Credit Coupons for Day 4

	Objectives
1	To obtain Credit Coupons from Scenes From Life in Meropide, Chit-Chat, talk to Nakul at the south side of the dormitory block. He will tell you about a locked room across Cater's, whose occupant he wants to meet.
2	Nakul tells you to peacefully negotiate with the occupant for a maximum of 54,000 Credit Coupons. To locate this door, simply head towards Cater's room but instead of going to the right, head left this time.
3	You will start off with 2 and a half hearts, but regardless of how the negotiation have gone, you'll still have to report back to Nakul to get your 280 Credit Coupons!
4	Once done, get the Credit Coupons from Scenes From Life in Meropide, Unfinished Task, by talking to Nelly on the upper level of the production zone.
5	Nelly is located on the upper level of the production zone, which you can access by using the lift from the production zone. You can get to the lift by turning left from the Waypoint in the production zone, just past the giant conveyor belt!
6	After getting off the lift, turn left, and head towards the girl with the Kamera standing by her. There's no quest marker on Nelly, but it will automatically trigger as long as you walk near her!
7	To help Nelly, simply disable the loudspeaker, and report to Grainville that something is wrong with it. Once he's beside the speaker, Nelly takes a snapshot of him, and gives you 280 Credit Coupons as a reward!

Go to the Administrative Area Bulletin Board

After completing all seven Scenes From Life in Meropide quests, go to the Administrative Area Bulletin Board, and convene with all the participants of the Coupon Millionaire to know the winner, which happens to be the Kids Team, because of Cater's coupon stash!

Talk to Estienne

Once things have settled in the Administrative Area, talk to Estienne outside of the Fortress of Meropide.
