Gradus ad Capitolium Walkthrough

Head to “Domus Aurea”

After passing thru the cavern from Initium Iani with Scylla's help, you'll see the broken Golden Aqueducts in Alta Semita that connects directly to the Clivus Capitolinus. Simply head to Domus Aurea after parting ways with Scylla.

There, you'll be welcomed by Boethius, who immediately talks to Monsieur Os. Listen to his and Cassiodor's exchange about the ideals of Remus, and Boethius' current plans for Remuria.

Fend off the golems

After their exchange, Boethius teleports you inside a dreamscape-version of Domus Aurea. After exhausting all the dialogue options with him, fend off the golems, and survive long enough for Cassiodor to teleport you out of the soul-palace.

Keep in mind that you won't have your party with you, so make sure to dodge and poke the golems, until Cassiodor rescues you.

Talk to Scylla

Once outside, you'll see Paimon with Scylla looking worried sick about you. After telling them of what happened inside Boethius' soul-palace, Scylla requests you to rebuild the Golden Aqueducts to open the gateway inside the Domus Aurea.

Rebuild the Golden Aqueducts

To rebuild the Golden Aqueducts, you must search for the scattered scores in Alta Semita. There are two scores that you must find, each representing the waterway and the pillars of the Golden Aqueducts.

How to Rebuild the Golden Aqueduct: Part 1

	Rebuild the Golden Aqueduct: Part 1
1	The first Score is located north of Alta Semita, nearby the Teleport Waypoint. You can go trigger the puzzle by simply swimming towards the mural, or by swimming towards Scylla (in case he's nearby).
2	Then, operate the light-guiding mechanism to align the horn to the one in the mural. To do this, click the left arrow three times, and the down arrow two times.
3	Once aligned, go to the Flying Bird Phantasms, and simply swim towards them until they reach the mural. You'll know the Phantasm is not yet fixed when they're moving around, leaving a trail of light behind them!
4	After guiding the three (3) Flying Bird Phantasms, all five birds will fly away from the mural. Follow them until they reach the Golden Aqueducts!

	Rebuild the Golden Aqueduct: Part 2
1	The second Score is located within the Collegium Phonascorum, just past the broken stairs. Alternatively, you can head to Scylla's location in case he's nearby, to which he'll tell you to follow the Golden Bee to reach the Score!
2	Like with the first score, operate the light mechanism to align the horn to the one in the mural. Do this by clicking the right arrow three times, and the up arrow once.
3	Afterwards, guide the three (3) Flying Bird Phantasms towards the Mural, like with the first score. They also leave a trail of light behind them, so make sure to watch out for these birds! Bird #1 - located to your left Bird #2 - surrounded by Anemo Slimes Bird #3 - hovering above the horn
4	The first bird is located few steps to your left. The bird will fly away as you approach it, so use the Humongous Hat Jellyfish underneath, to propel yourself upwards to easily chase it. Another Hat Jellyfish spawns each time you use it, so make sure to constantly utilize this mechanic until the bird is affixed to the mural.
5	Once done, from the mural, look to your left until you see a Phantasm Bird surrounded by Anemo Slimes. Simply hit the Slimes with any Bow-character, until the bird flies towards the Mural. Defeat the Slimes twice, as they will spawn two times in total.
6	Lastly, the remaining Phantasm Bird is flying just above the horn. Use the Humongous Hat Jellyfish below it to launch your character upward. Once you're on top of the horn, simply guide the Bird from there until it reaches the Mural!
7	Once all the birds have been guided, follow them towards the end of the cavern. There's a Waypoint along the way you can activate, which you can do a reroute for, as the birds will wait for you!

Talk to Scylla

Once the Golden Aqueducts have been rebuilt, you will again get teleported inside the dreamspace, where you see Scylla talking to the voice of Remus. Listen to their conversation, and talk to Scylla about this memory after getting out of the dream!
