You can wait or change the time between 8:00 to 12:00 in the following day. The quest will then be available to do in the set time!

Talk to Iaune in Palais Mermonia

Genshin - A Certain Trifle - Talk to Iaune

Find and talk to Iaune again in Palais Mermonia. He will be sitting by the table and hunched over his desk.

Find Estelle at Fontaine's Smithy

Genshin - A Certain Trifle - Talk to Estelle at Smithy

Go find Estelle and seek her out at the blacksmith location on the map in the Court of Fontaine area. Help find the item Iaune is looking for.

Place the Keycap in the Typewriter

Genshin - A Certain Trifle - Place the Keycap on the Typewriter

After retrieving the missing keycap, return to Palais Mermonia and install the keycap! This should complete the quest!
