How to Unlock Wilting Weeping Willow
Unlocked After Finishing Foggy Forest Path
Wilting Weeping Willow is automatically unlocked after finishing the Foggy Forest Path World Quest, right after the dialogue with Pahsiv and Paimon.
Investigate the Altar Under the Willow
Alternatively, you can trigger the quest without doing Foggy Forest Path first by investigating the altar under the tree, which is located underwater. This will trigger the Wilting Weeping Willow World Quest and also start The Wild Fairy of Erinnyes quest line!
Wilting Weeping Willow Walkthrough
Search For the Key Near the Weeping Willow
After the dialogue with Paimon and Pahsiv, head to the Wilting Weeping Willow in Erinnyes Forest. From Fountain of Lucine, head northeast and follow the path until you see the Teleport Waypoint and the big, wilting tree.
How to Get to Fontaine and Map Guide
Find a Way to Activate the Altar
Head down the path and dive into the water. Swim downward until you see another stone altar. Interact with it then a small dialogue between you and Paimon will commence. To activate the altar, you need to activate the Harmonious Reeds around it.
However, you need to remove the Contaminated Bacterial Mat near the Dew Branch first using the Ball Octopus' ability.
Find a Xenochromatic Hunter Ray
Looking up from the altar, the Ball Octopus is locked inside seagrass. To free it, you need to use a Hunter Ray's ability. A pack of Hunter Ray can be seen just north of the altar, so take the Xenochromatic Hunter Ray's ability and defeat them.

Use Hunter Ray's Ability to Cut Seagrass
Once you have the Hunter Ray's ability, use it to cut the seagrass and free the Ball Octopus from its prison. Make sure to wait for the green spot to align with the other spots and time your ability well to successfully cut the seagrass!
When the Ball Octopus is free, take its ability and head back to the Dew Branch.
Remove the Contaminated Bacterial Mats
Use the Ball Octopus' ability to remove the Contaminated Bacterial Mats near the Dew Branch for it to activate. Once the mats are removed, the Dew Branch will spawn a Dew Bubble which you can use to activate the Harmonious Reeds in order.
Move Dew Bubble in Between the Reeds
Move the Dew Bubble and place it in between the Harmonious Reeds that need to be activated first. This should be just enough distance so that the bubble activates them first, then farther reed second.
Pop the bubble once it is in place and you will see an item on the altar.
Examine the Item on the Altar
Interact with the item on the altar and a cutscene will play. Pahsiv will suddenly show up once more and talk with you and Paimon. She will disappear after the dialogue and you will receive another Teardrop Key and complete the Wilting Weeping Willow World Quest!

Wilting Weeping Willow is a subquest of the quest, The Wild Fairy of Erinnyes, where you'll meet Pahsiv and help her find all three Teardrop Keys to cleanse the thing that plagues the forest and restore Erinnyes Forest to its former glory!
