Competitive Analysis

Cosmic Power is a Psychic-type move that boosts its user's Defense and Special Defense stats.

This move is very useful for bulky and defensive Pokemon as it enables them to take more hits from both physical and special attacks.

Stacking your Defense and Special Defense boosts while also consistently using recovery moves or holding HP-recovering items is a great way to stall your opponents, along with inflicting damaging status conditions like Toxic.

Do note, however, that Cosmic Power's stat boosts can be easily cleared with Haze.
