Competitive Analysis

G-Max Volcalith is Gigantamax Coalossal's signature move.

Once used the move leaves volcanic rocks on your opponent's field that deals residual damage for four turns. This is a great way of dealing constant damage to your foes and neutralize any healing from Leftovers or Grassy Terrain for example.

Coalossal also has access to a number of multi-hit moves, so it can keep pressuring both of your opponent's Pokemon even after Gigantamaxing.
