Fake Out Competitive Analysis

Fake Out is a strong Priority move that has been a staple in competitive play. This move has the additional effect of making the target flinch.

There are several use for Fake Out but the most common one is to disrupt a target that is looking to set up. This could either be a sweeper trying to use Swords Dance or a support looking to get Tailwind out.

Note that Fake Out can only be used during the first turn the user is on the field. This condition resets after switching the user back out onto the field.
