Confide Competitive Analysis

Confide is a supporting move that is learned by the Grimmsnarl line which lowers the target's Sp. Atk by one stage. Since this is a status move, it is boosted by Grimmsnarl's Prankster which will make it a priority move instead.

However, Prankster is a strong ability that has better use for stronger moves such as Reflect or Light Screen. These two moves essentially does the same thing but instead of targeting one target, it affects any opposing Pokemon on the field.

Confide Locations

Confide is one of the signature moves of the Grimmsnarl line, thus making them the only Pokemon that can learn the move.
