Shift Gear Competitive Analysis

Shift Gear is the premier stat boosting move used by Magearna and the Klinklang line. This move raises the user's Speed by two stages and Attack by one stage.

Considering the natural bulk of the Pokemon that have access to this move, Shift Gear is a safe turn one move. This allows you to have a fast physical sweeper on the board that is hard to deal with.
