Competitive Analysis

Avalanche remains to be a niche move since it double the damage if the user was hurt by the target in the same turn. While the base damage is decent enough, it might be difficult to setup this attack in making sure your Pokemon remains alive but tankier Pokemon such as Avalugg and Glastrier can reliably take advantage of this move!
