You can often get Berries when you complete a Max Raid Battle. The berries you obtain here will be ones that are useful in battle such as Sitrus Berries, as well as ones that are useful when training your Pokemon such as Qualot Berry.
How to Train Pokemon Like a Pro
You can also find berries by shaking trees found in the Wild Area. The more you shake it, the more berries you can obtain, but when the amount of time the tree shakes for shortens, a Pokemon is highly likely to fall down and engage you in battle. When this happens, many of the berries will be stolen, so be careful not to shake the tree too much.
Keep shaking | A Pokemon will fall soon (Stop!) |

Berries can also be purchased from the Berry Shop in Wedgehurst. However, the only berries you can buy here are Oran Berries, Cheri Berries, and Pecha Berries, so it is not extremely useful.
The quickest way to stock up on berries is to repeatedly complete Max Raid Battles. Since Max Raid Battles are such an effective method for selectively catching Pokemon with high IVs and collecting Exp. Candy and TMs, it is one very important aspect to raising up the best Pokemon team, so earning some berries along the way is a nice side effect.
While travelling from Den to Den, shaking trees along the way will assist you in collecting berries most quickly. While it is still unconfirmed, it seems like berries return after about a day, so be sure and recheck the berry supply after a day has passed.

As long as the berry tree is not shaking without pause, you can keep shaking it. Also, for berry farming it's better not to shake trees on the Isle of Armour because there's a high chance of dropping the colored apricorns instead of berries.
