Leppa Berry | |
Effect | A Berry to be consumed by Pokemon. If a Pokemon holds one, it can restore 10 PP to a depleted move during battle. |
---|
You can get Leppa Berry by shaking Berry trees found in Wild Areas and Routes.
Watchtower Ruins | Dappled Grove |
Route 6 | Route 4 |
You can get more Berries by shaking a tree multiple times. However, the more you shake it, the higher the possibility that Pokemon will fall from the tree and challenge you into a battle.
It would also mean that the chances of getting Berries will decrease.
Normal Shake | Possibility of Falling Pokemon |

You can get all kinds of Berries as a reward when winning Max Raids.
For more information on Max Raids and how to win them, see our guide!
How to Win Max Raid Battles
Leppa Berry restores 10 PP to a move if you have used up all of its PP.
This may seem like a valuable item, but it is better to equip a power-boosting item instead of setting up a safety net for one of your moves. You will get more mileage with the likes of Life Orb or any Choice item than waiting for 5-10 turns to activate Leppa Berry.
Using up all of a move's PP will be a rare situation as there will be times that you will need to use another move to cover a weakness or land a super-effective hit.
Leppa Berry can be used as an ingredient when cooking Curries at the Campsite! Using Leppa Berry in your Curry will give it a Spicy, Sweet, Bitter, and Sour flavor.
You can also use Leppa Berries to produce an item at the Cram-O-Matic! The product you will get will depend on what items you combine the Berry with.
