How to Win Max Raid Battles
Shuca Berry will halve any damage taken by the holder by super-effective Ground-type attacks.
Fire-type Pokemon, especially those with meager Defense stats, will see much use for this Berry to soften up an incoming Ground-type attack, usually from Earthquake.
Incineroar and Entei will almost always have a Ground-type attack coming for them thanks to their Fire-typing. Letting them hold Shuca Berry will guarantee survivability for one turn.
Defensive Rock-type Pokemon like Stakataka can also benefit from getting Ground-type damage halved.
Shuca Berry can be used as an ingredient when cooking Curries at the Campsite! Using Shuca Berry in your Curry will give it a Spicy and Sweet flavor.
You can also use Shuca Berries to produce an item at the Cram-O-Matic! The product you will get will depend on what items you combine the Berry with.
