Effect | A Berry to be consumed by Pokémon. If a Pokémon holds one, its Speed stat will increase when it’s in a pinch. |

You can get Salac Berry by shaking Berry trees found in Wild Areas and Routes.
Motostoke Riverbank | Axew's Eye |
Route 9 |
You can get more Berries by shaking a tree multiple times. However, the more you shake it, the higher the possibility that Pokemon will fall from the tree and challenge you into a battle.
It would also mean that the chances of getting Berries will decrease.
Normal Shake | Possibility of Falling Pokemon |

You can get all kinds of Berries as a reward when winning Max Raids.
For more information on Max Raids and how to win them, see our guide!
How to Win Max Raid Battles
Salac Berry raises its holder's Speed stat by one stage when its health drops to below 25%. This pinch Berry is useful for Pokemon that has no method of boosting its Speed stat in order to be effective.
A good way of using this is pairing it with Substitute to safely reach the HP threshold without being in danger of being knocked out.
Xurkitree is an Ultra Beast with a towering Special Attack but lacks a viable Speed stat. Letting it hold Salac Berry and building it with a focus on being defensive is a great way of utilzing the Glowing Pokemon.
Salac Berry can be used as an ingredient when cooking Curries at the Campsite! Using Salac Berry in your Curry will give it a Sweet, Bitter, and Sour flavor.
You can also use Salac Berries to produce an item at the Cram-O-Matic! The product you will get will depend on what items you combine the Berry with.
