Sitrus Berry | |
Effect | A Berry to be consumed by Pokemon. If a Pokemon holds one, it can restore its own HP by a small amount during battle. |
---|
You can get Sitrus Berry by shaking Berry trees found in Wild Areas and Routes.
Motostoke Riverbank | Watchtower Ruins |
Giant's Seat | Route 6 |
You can get more Berries by shaking a tree multiple times. However, the more you shake it, the higher the possibility that Pokemon will fall from the tree and challenge you into a battle.
It would also mean that the chances of getting Berries will decrease.
Normal Shake | Possibility of Falling Pokemon |

You can get all kinds of Berries as a reward when winning Max Raids.

How to Win Max Raid Battles
Sitrus Berry will heal 25% of its holder's HP when its health falls below 50% of its max HP.
A common debate about held recovery items is whether the constant heals of Leftovers are better than Sitrus Berry's one-time HP recovery.
There is no definite answer in this question as using one or the other will depend on the situation.
For Pokemon built for stalling, Leftovers is the better option as they can regenerate some HP while using Protect. These Pokemon will also rely on Leftover's constant heals as time goes on for there will be times that you will switch them in and out of the field.
Sitrus Berry fits offensive Pokemon better due to its immediate heal. Offensive Pokemon are usually built to make an impact as quickly as possible. The same manner should also be applied on its recovery options.
Pokemon intended for supporting your team like Incineroar and Stakataka or Indeedee-F for Trick Room will also benefit from holding Sitrus Berry.
Pinch Berries, like Aguav and Wiki Berries, are mainly used as a recovery item that bypass item restrictions. If you need HP-recovering Berries and have already set a Sitrus Berry on another Pokemon, you can use equip pinch Berries on them.
In case if you need to choose between the two, Sitrus Berry is a safer choice as you don't need to be in near-critical health to activate your recovery item.
Sitrus Berry can be used as an ingredient when cooking Curries at the Campsite! Using Sitrus Berry in your Curry will give it a Dry, Sweet, Bitter, and Sour flavor.
You can also use Sitrus Berries to produce an item at the Cram-O-Matic! The product you will get will depend on what items you combine the Berry with.
