Stored Power is a special Psychic-type move that has the potential to be the most powerful move in the game.
The move has 20 base power, but its power is increased by 20 for each stage a stat is increased.
Stored Power's potential lies on how many stat boosts you can get on the user. The move calculates additional damage based on the boosts from the user's Attack, Special Attack, Defense, Special Defense, Speed, evasion, and accuracy.
The total but near-unrealistic base power Stored Power can have is 860.
Stored Power's damage is not decreased when the user has any stat that is decreased below the normal value.
Stored Power can be used both by offensive and defensive Pokemon to take advantage of the stat-boosts they may do to improve their respective roles.
These Pokemon can use moves like Swords Dance, Amnesia or Calm Mind, Dragon Dance, Cosmic Power, and other similar stat-raising moves.
Take note that it is much more effective to use moves that boost one stat by two stages or two stats by one stage than those that only raise a single stat by one stage, like Howl.
Using Haze or forcing a Stored Power user to switch out will effectively neutralize the threat this move brings.
Stored Power (TR82) is available to purchase from the Watt Traders in the Wild Area for 2000 Watts.
The Watt Traders' selection of TM and TRs changes everyday so make sure to check what's in stock!
It's also possible to get Stored Power (TR82) from Psychic-type Max Raid dens as a reward for defeating or catching the resident Dynamax or Gigantamax Pokemon.
It's also possible to get Stored Power (TR82) from the Cram-o-Matic, although the chances are still low even when using the right items.
