The Dune of Magma Puzzle Guide

Release the Primal Ember to Unlock the Ruin

While you can access the entrance to the pyramids itself, the underground area is locked behind a Primal Ember puzzle. To access the underground location of The Dune of Magma, you will need to guide the Ember to light up the Torch in the entrance of the Pyramid.

	The Dune of Magma Unlock Walkthrough
1	Head inside the Dune of Magma and open the door with the Plinth book. No clearance is needed.
2	Upstairs the Dune of Magma, wait for the fan to stop, then release and guide the Primal Ember.
3	Guide the Primal Ember to the entrance of the pyramid. This will open the door.
3	Drop down the new hole. The underground area of The Dune of Magma is now open. A hidden teleport waypoint can be accessed deep within!

Dune of Magma Southwest Ruin Puzzle Walkthrough

	How to Get the Precious Chest
1	Go to the ruins southwest of The Dune of Magma ruin.
2	Go inside and head down the stairs to release the Primal Ember.
3	Follow the Primal Ember to its Primal Torch.
4	On the same room, rotate the beam on the opposite side where you came in so you won't need to go back again.
5	Go back to the starting point and open the door using the power cell beam.
6	Use the elevator inside to go down.
7	Once you reach the lower floor, rotate the beam towards the power cell closest to the elevator you came from to spawn a Primal Ember.
8	Then rotate it to the power cell near the door to unlock it.
9	Destroy the large jar to show another power cell. Rotate the beam there to stop the Large Fan Blade from moving.
10	Release the Primal Ember and follow it.
11	Once it reaches its Primal Torch, collect the rewards from the common chest along with a Forged Primal Light.
12	On the same room, put the Forged Primal Light to the Keystone Replicator nearby to summon a Power Cell.
13	Point out the beam to the newly unlocked power cell to open the door and hit the other power cell with the beam from the room nearby.
14	Ride the elevator that'll appear to head back up.
15	Pick up the Forged Primal Light once the elevator stops and open the door leading back to where you started.
16	Place the Forged Primal Light to the Keystone Replicator to spawn another Primal Ember.
17	Release the Primal Ember and guide it to its Primal Torch.
18	It will then spawn an exquisite chest and open the door leading to the next area.
19	Proceed inside and jump down the small hole on the corner.
20	After jumping down, defeat 3 Primal Constructs to unlock the Precious Chest.
21	Use the elevator behind the Precious Chest to head back up. You can get a Dendroculus on the room above.
22	You can now go outside by opening the door there. You can also get the How Do You Write the Excavation Report? achievement after opening the door.

You can get to The Dune of Magma pyramid southwest of The Mausoleum of King Deshret in Hypostyle Desert.

A teleport waypoint can be unlocked in this location.

The Dune of Magma Sacred Seals

All Dune of Magma Sacred Seal Locations

You can find a total of five Sacred Seals in The Dune of Magma. Four of which are found deep underground.

	The Dune of Magma Sacred Seal Locations
1	Sacred Seal: Raised Arm • Beside the fan inside the pyramid.
2	Sacred Seal: Valley • Drop down to the underground area. • By the two Fungi enemies.
3	Sacred Seal: Valley • Drop down to the underground area. • Proceed until you get to the big underground area with a Teleport Waypoint. • Seal is beside a Primal Sandglass puzzle.
4	Sacred Seal: Thunderstrike • Seal is beside an Everlight Cell, by the entrance to Duat Hall.
5	Sacred Seal Ceremony • Head inside a cave west of the Primal Sandglass shown in #3. • Seal is behind some big mushrooms and Fungi by a puddle.

The Dune of Magma Dendroculus

All Dune of Magma Dendroculus Locations

There are four Dendroculi within the area around The Dune of Magma. All of it are underground or nearby ruins. You will need the Dual Evidence quest to get clearance and easy access to both locations.

	The Dune of Magma Dendroculus Locations
1	Glide down mid-way the underground hole.
2	On a broken wall by the entrance to Duat Hall. You can see it from the Teleport Waypoint.
3	From the waypoint, go up the right path. The Dendroculus is on top of the big mushroom canopy.
4	Make your way through all puzzles within the ruins southwest of Dune of Magma. The Dendroculus is the final reward from completing it. You will need full clearance to do this.
