With the Introduction of Hexerei: Secret Rite on Version 6.2 Luna III, Venti has received additional buffs to his kit, granted you satisfy the caveat of having two Hexerei Members.

Venti is now capable of being an on-fielder with his Anemo Infusion. You would want to have Desert Pavilion as his artifact set to increase the potency of his on-field capabilities. The Daybreak Chronicles is his best-in-slot for weapons. Alternatives are Astra Vulture's Crimson Plumage and Aqua Simulacra.

Sub-DPS Builds

Venti's best asset is his Elemental Burst, and improving either its Swirl or CRIT damage is crucial to his build choices.

Venti's DPS and Support builds use Viridescent Venerer as his best artifact, so it's up to your current available weapons and artifact stats should you wish to use him with a specific build.

In a Hexerei Team and as Main DPS, Venti's priorities changes into his Normal Attacks to increase his Anemo Infusion during Burst. Naturally, his Elemental Burst still plays a huge part for his kit, therefore, its a second priority.

His Elemental Skill does damage but not a priority for this playstyle.

Venti's Elemental Burst is a defining tool for dealing damage and utility, and should be prioritized accordingly. His Elemental Skill also deals high damage, and leveling it up can be valuable. His Normal Attack will be barely used, so it can be ignored or saved for last.

Desert Pavilion for DPS, Viridescent in General

Due to the new Hexerei buffs, Venti has now become a prominent Anemo DPS that can make use of Desert Pavilion Chronicle to increase the frequency of his Anemo-infused attacks.

Otherwise, Viridescent Venerer remains his best supportive set and a good general set to go with if one does not want to farm for his Hexerei DPS position, or wants to utilize him as a Sub-DPS still.

Elemental Burst and Hexerei Oriented

Venti shines best when his teammates help him increase the damage of his Elemental Burst, either through applying elemental auras to the enemies for Venti to Swirl or by snapshotting his Burst.

The same thing can be said for his Hexerei teams but it requires to include another Hexerei member in the party to utilize this team archetype.

Venti's Elemental Skill, Skyward Sonnet, can be used to create air currents for exploration. Players in search of treasure chests and oculi can take advantage of this skill to reach high places that would otherwise be difficult to reach.

It can also be used to dodge enemies while also gathering them together. You can plunge down on them to deal extra damage!

Wind's Grand Ode
Fires off an arrow made of countless coalesced winds, creating a huge Stormeye that sucks in objects and enemies along its path, dealing continuous Anemo DMG. Elemental Absorption: If the Stormeye comes into contact with Hydro/Pyro/Cryo/Electro elements, it will deal additional DMG of that type. Elemental Absorption may only occur once per use. Use Elemental Burst to Chain Elemental Reactions

Elemental Burst: Wind's Grand Ode

Venti's Elemental Burst, Wind's Grand Ode, creates a vortex that sucks in all surrounding enemies within range. The vortex deals massive damage and absorbs Cryo, Hydro, Electro, and Pyro Elements, dealing additional damage to enemies trapped inside.

Enemies with elemental auras, like slimes, will immediately imbue their element into the vortex and will be immune to the additional elemental damage. Triggering elemental reactions in the vortex is the best way to deal with pesky elemental auras.
