Quest: #1 Lost in the Woods |
Treasures and Collectors is a new world quest added in Version 5.0 and is available immediately after unlocking the Natlan region.
Find Quipia in the Basin of Unnumbered Flames
Treasures and Collectors can be started by talking to Quipia at an excavation site in the Basin of Unnumbered Flames. The excavation site is located northwest of the Scions of the Canopy.
Treasures and Collectors Walkthrough
Try Your Luck at the Excavation Site
After talking to Quipia, drop down the excavation in front of her to start exploring the underground area. Follow the path and drop down to a small room that seems like a dead end.
Help the Little Tepetlisaur Destroy the Rocks
You will find a pile of rocks with solid Phlogiston on the south side of the room, which your Little Tepetlisaur will start attacking as soon as you get close. Help him destroy the rocks to reveal a Yumkasaur Spiritsconce under them.
Break the Wall Using the Phlogiston Barrels
Indwell into the Spiritsconce to transform into a Yumkasaur. Grab one of the Phlogiston barrels on your left and launch it at the cracked wall on your right to open a new path.
Follow Your Saurian Companion
Find the closed gate at the end of the path and wait for the Tepetlisaur to unearth a mechanism next to it. Interact with the mechanism to open the gate to the final room.
Continue Exploring the Excavation Site
Using the Yumkasaur's ability, pull the block away from the cage to free the Monetoo. Follow it to the graffiti on the west wall where it will materialize a Phlogiston mechanism. Infuse it with Phlogiston and defeat the Hunter-Seeker.
Check the Treasure Then Go Back and Ask Quipia
Pick up the mysterious little ball that the automaton dropped before leaving the ruins. A shortcut with a Precious Chest will open above the room you are in that you can reach with the Yumkasaur.
After getting back up to the surface and showing Quipia the treasure you found, the Little Tepetlisaur will decide that he wants to be a collector to and will keep the ball instead. Quest complete!
