Quest: #1 Lost in the Woods |
Friends of Fire and Water requires players to have completed the Lost in the Woods quest, as the latter quest unlocks the quest chain that the former falls under.
Friends of Fire and Water can be started by going to the shores southwest of the Masters of the Night-Wind clan's area , in the nation of Natlan.

Upon arriving at the indicated area, players will find several enemies acting as dragon traffickers. Defeat them, including the named mini-boss that spawns.
Once all enemies have been taken out, interact with all of the cages to free the animals. Opening the door trapping the Blubberbeast will trigger some dialogue.
After meeting the Blubberbeast, players will have to go to the nearby stove to put together a dish for the Saurian and Blubberbeast to eat. Paimon will be guiding the player throughout the process, leading to a fish-based dish.
Take the dish to the Blubberbeast and feed both it and the Saurian Companion. Watch the following scenes to arrive at the end of the quest.
Friends of Fire and Water belongs to the quest line called In the Footsteps of the Chosen of Dragons, unlocked by starting any of the quests in the latter's quest chain. There is no particular order required for these quests.
