The Mystery of Tecoloapan Beach is a new world quest added in Version 5.2 and is available immediately after unlocking the Natlan region.
The Mystery of Tecoloapan Beach Walkthrough
Head to The Foggy Island
After unlocking the Masters of The Night Wind sub-region, head to the Northwest-most point of the island, which is near a waypoint.
You can visibly see a foggy location, both on the map and in-game, especially if you're standing on the coast. Indwell one of the nearby Koholosaurs and head towards the foggy island.
Discover The Island's Mystery
As you near the island, you'll see some form of ruins. There will also be colored subtitles that will automatically trigger, prompting the start of the quest.
How to Undo The 1st Seal
Once on the island, you'll be tasked by a Mysterious Force to investigate a marked location. Head up the structure until you come across a sigil that turns you into an Iktomisaur. Use its indwell ability and scan the glowing rune.
Undo The Island's Other Seals

After you undo the 1st Seal, the others will be marked on the map, though the area will still be obscured by fog. Simply follow the light beacons to reach the next area. |
| 2 | Follow The Arrows 
Since the map won't be of much help until you've cleard the fog, you can instead follow Grafitti Arrows that convenietly point you towards the next objective. Follow the arrows upward to reach the 2nd Seal. |

You'll find the 2nd seal on top of a tall earth spire. Use the Iktomisaur's unique Saurian abilities to scale up the cliffside and reach the summit. Line up the runes and scan to undo the seal. |
Uncover The Hidden Entrance

The Mysterious Force will hint that the next seal is underground. Follow the beacon until you reach a small islet. You'll see 2 Spirits there that look like Sauroform Tribal Warriors.
Indwell into an Iktomisaur and use its ability to scan the nearby rocks, summoning another Saurian Warrior Spirit who'll then fight the other 2. Finish the fight faster by scanning and using the Explosive Barrel Glyph on the other rock.

| 1 | Reveal The Floor Illusion 
Head to the center of cave and use the Iktomisaur to scan the flooring, revealing a lower level. Drop down after. NOTE: The floor illusion can bug out if you go inside ahead of the yellow quest beacon. |

Scan the seal, then ride the wind current upwards to exit the cave. |
Find The Final Seal
Upon exiting the cave, follow the river downstream, towards a floating island in the distance that'll be marked. As you get closer, you'll encounter an Iktomasaur who'll help you reach it.

Ride the wind current that appears until it the highest point it can go. A bunch of floating stone platforms will then materialize. Indwell the Iktomasaur on the first platform, then use it to more easily get to the floating island. |
| 2 | 
A wind current will appear at the edge of the floating island. Use it to stay airborne and scan the glyph on the cliff. |
| 3 | 
Next, glide down to a lower level on the floating island and place the missing Glyph piece to restore and scan the 4th Seal. |
Return to The Central Ruins
Undoing all the seals will reactivate a portal in the center of the island. Go to it to be transported to the boss area.
Defeat The False Wayob
You must defeat the boss of this quest, 'Evildoer Who Once Led Countless Priests Astray', to solve the mystery of the island and restore its peace.

Defeat the boss and listen to the Guardian Wayob to lift the fog surrounding Tecoloapan Bay.

Anonymous 6 monthsWhat do i do if i mistakenly switched back to the character after fighting the two illusions? i don't wanna swim to these islands again to indwell a saurian again.
