To unlock Someday, We All Must Walk Alone, you must complete all quests that feature the Little One. This includes all quest series and its sub-quests, individual world quests, as well as Archon Quests where your Saurian companion has been shown, and/or has its own dialogue! Take note that a total of 56 quests are required to unlock this quest!

Additionally, you must complete certain overworld puzzles to unlock Someday, We All Must Walk Alone. This is often overlooked, especially that these puzzles have no markers unlike quests, but fortunately, there are only two of these puzzles that you need complete!

The first Dragon Puzzle on the Sea of Shifting Sentience is the only overworld puzzle in Version 5.5 required to unlock this quest. By the end of this puzzle, specifically right after Paimon remarks that you may have summoned the Dragon, the Little One grunts in agreement, indicating its importance to its personal quest!

| 1 | ![]() Teleport to the Flower-Feather Clan's Obsidian Totem Pole, and glide northeast, down to the cliff, overlooking the tribe. |

| 3 | ![]() Next, indwell on the Iktomisaurus Spiritsconce nearby, and use its Elemental Skill on the Tepetlisaurus Whelp to the right of the stone formation. |
| 4 | ![]() Once done, head to the left side of the formation, towards the empty feeding bowl. It will ask you to feed the Tepetlisaurus on the left with one Saurus Cracker. |
| 5 | ![]() Lastly, go back to the Kamera, and snap an image of the three Tepetlisaurus whelps! |

A group of three baby Tatankasaurus can be found playing around a Secret Source Cannon. You need to destroy it to make all the baby Tatankasaurus go back to Urubamba.

A baby Tatankasaurus is seen being chased by a hilichurl. Defeat it to make the baby Tatankasaurus go back to Urubamba.

Another baby Tatankasaurus chasing a baby Tepetlisaurus near the Urubamba's camp. Interact with both of them to make them go back.

A baby Tatankasaurus getting harrassed by a bunch of hilichurls. Defeat all the enemies to make the Tatankasaurus go back to Urubamba.

A Matador Monetoo can be seen bullying a baby Tatankasaurus. Defeat the Matador Monetoo by Indwelling a Tatankasaurus nearby to make the baby Tatankasaurus go back to Urubamba. Remember to hit the Monetoo after it embeds itself into the wall to get the baby Tatankasaurus!

Head to the bottom of the waterfalls southwest of Tepeacac Rise. You will see broken golden pillars and interact with the bright light in the middle, which will lead you to your Saurian Companion's rest area.
Upon entering, you will notice that there is Kamera pointing at your Saurian.

While talking to your Saurian Companion, you reminisce some of the memories and adventures you have been through. After a while, your Saurian buddy tells you that it wants to go on an adventure on its own.
Then, you decide to take a picture with your Saurian one last time. A picture to remember your memories with your Saurian Companion.

Someday, We All Must Walk Alone is a subquest of the quest chain, In the Footsteps of the Chosen of Dragons, which can be started by finding any of the subquests under it.
The subquests' marker will not appear on the map, making them difficult to track.

Lastly, once Someday, We All Must Walk Alone is completed, players will also unlock the Profile Avatar, Till We Meet Again, featuring the Little One's last farewell to the Traveler!
