Ripe For Trouble is a 5.0 World Quest in Natlan for Genshin Impact. See how to get the Green-Edged Paper Slip, how to increase the Liquid Phlogiston levels, unlock the quest, and the walkthrough guides here!
List of Contents
To unlock Ripe For Trouble, you must first get the Green-Edged Paper Slip from the Scions of the Canopy area in Coatepec Mountain. Use the Teleport Waypoint in Scions of the Canopy and you'll see the paper slip on top of a wooden crate next to the waypoint.
Next, use the Teleport Waypoint above. It is located near the big tree in Tequemecan Valley. Near the tree, you will find a small canyon with a waterfall.
Glide down and you'll see a cavern opening. The quest marker will also show up on the map.
At the entrance, you'll find Poca. Approach her and she will tell you that Tisoc has gone missing. This will start the Ripe For Trouble World Quest!
After the dialogue with Poca, glide down the hole to continue. At the bottom, you will see some water and a Teleport Waypoint. Activate it and then head down the path just next to it. This leads you towards the area of the Flamegranate Roots.
The path will lead you to the roots of the Flamegranate Tree, and you'll see Tisoc lying on the ground. Glide down to him and check up on him. Tisoc will then ask you to explore the roots further and check out what's wrong.
After the dialogue with Tisoc, glide down further into the cavern and follow the path of the water. This will lead you to a deeper cavern area, where there are some Yumkasauri and ruins. Take out the slimes first then press forward.
You will then see Solidified Magma on the wall up ahead. You'll have to break it to proceed.
To break the Solidified Magma, indwell a Yumkasauri first. Use its Flamegranate Pectin ability on a Flamegranate nearby and throw it at the Solidified Magma to break it. Once the path is open, proceed further.
Moving into the cavern, you'll be greeted by more water and bigger ruins. Keep moving forward until you see big roots and another wall of Solidified Magma at the left side of the cavern. You'll have to break this to proceed.
To break the Solidified Magma, you'll have to indwell a Yumkasauri like earlier. Since Yumkasauri can't swim, you need to do additional steps to bring one near the Solidified Magma to break it.
First, use the Spiritsconce to indwell a Yumkasauri near the sitting Ruin Guard on the left side of the cavern. It's better to take it out first so that it won't disturb you. Once you take it out, get the Exquisite Chest and head up the stairs on the left side.
Go up the stairs and use the switch to open the gate from the right side of the stairs. However, you will get locked in by another gate after. Break the wall using the Yumkasauri and return to the opened gate earlier.
Open the Precious Chest and activate the mechanism to see the Coilgrass Sigils above the water. You can then use the Yumkasauri's Flamegranate Pectin ability to grapple using these sigils and get across the water.
Go up the stairs and go near the Solidified Magma. Use the Flamegranates nearby to break it using the Yumkasauri. You'll need two Flamegranates total since there are two marks on the wall, so look nearby.
After breaking the Solidified Magma, head down further into the cavern. Indwell a Yumkasauri to use the Coillgrass Sigils and easily cross the water.
You'll be brought to a cavern filled with Liquid Phlogiston. Tisoc will then ask you to release the Liquid Phlogiston from the rocks blocking it.
To break the rocks blocking the Liquid Phlogiston, go around it and break it from behind. Move towards the right side of the cavern and you'll see a pathway that leads further in. Follow it and you'll reach a stream of Liquid Phlogiston.
Above the stream of Liquid Phlogiston, you'll see some Coilgrass Sigils which you can use to cross. Use them to reach the back side of the large Solidified Magma.
Use the Yumkasauri to break the large Solifidied Magma using Flamegranates scattered nearby. This will trigger a cutscene and after it, you'll have to escape the cave since it'll get filled up by Liquid Phlogiston.
Use the Coilgrass Sigils that show up to escape the cavern. Once you reach the top, you'll have a dialogue with Tisoc. This marks the end of the Ripe For Trouble World Quest!
