How to Unlock The Case of the Crafting Bench
Interact with the “Crafting Bench”
Head over to the Stadium of the Sacred Flame and look for a strange crafting bench around the southeastern edge of the stadium. It'll be next to an NPC named Vilca and her Yumkasauri.
Interacting with this particular crafting bench will trigger a cutscene where you'll meet Sumac. This officially starts The Case of the Crafting Bench quest!

Go to the clearing near the Stadium of the Sacred Flame
Teleport to the waypoint by the stadium's main entrance and glide down from the cliff to reach the meeting spot.
Duel against Sumac
To test out the potion Sumac made with the odd crafting bench, you'll need to defeat her in battle. Once she's down, you'll be teleported back into the stadium.
Check on Sumac's condition
Back at the stadium, you'll find Sumac resting on a carpet. As you're checking on her, Hampeq will join the conversation and tell you his suspicions about the crafting bench.
Go to the outdoor training area to gather testimonies
After agreeing to help Hampeq with his investigation, teleport to the waypoint east of the bridge leading to the main entrance of the Stadium of the Sacred Flame.
From there, head to the marked location to find the outdoor training area and ask Ogun some questions.
Complete Ogun's challenge
Ogun will ask you to complete a trial first before he gives you his testimony. Use the Spiritsconce to transform into a Tepetlisaurus and destroy 15 Unstable Phlogiston Crystals.
It'll be fairly easy to destroy 15 crystals within the time limit since they will continuously spawn. You don't need to climb too high since they'll mostly appear at the lower areas of the wall.
Complete Pampa's challenge
After getting Ogun's testimony, talk to Pampa who'll also be in the same area. He'll challenge you to another trial where you must collect 25 Pyro Particles.
Transform into a Yumkasaurus and simply swing in the direction of the Coilgrass Sigils to get all particles with ease! Afterwards, you'll get Pampa's testimony and the Locusts' purchase invoice.
Go to the People of the Springs to meet Anela
Teleport to the waypoint northeast of the Statue of The Seven at Ameyalco Waters. Then, just glide down from the hill to meet Anela and ask for her testimony.
Complete Anela's challenge
Anela will give you one last challenge. Here, you'll need to transform into a Koholosarus to collect 40 Flowlight Orbs. Just follow the direction of the orbs and jump at the Jet-Set Eddies to gather them all!
Return to the Stadium of the Sacred Flame
Once you have Anela's testimony, return and talk to Sumac at the Stadium of the Sacred Flame. After a brief conversation, the team will agree to meet up again in two days.
Go to the outdoor training area after two days
Use the Time function to move time forward by two days. Just turn the clock arrow all the way clockwise until the time adjustment says Day After Tomorrow.
Then, head over to the training area where you did Ogun and Pampa's challenges. A crowd will be gathered around to settle the dispute.
Submit the victims' testimonies to the judge
During the discussion, you'll be prompted to go up to Tenehua to submit the testimonies of Ogun, Pampa, and Anela. Select the highlighted items in your inventory to hand them over.
Submit the purchase invoice to the judge
The discussion ends in an impasse, so Tenehua will decide to adjourn the meeting. You'll need to submit the Locusts' purchase invoice first to proceed through the quest.
Follow Tozan via his footprints
After the meeting, you'll be brought outside the Stadium of Sacred Waters to follow Tozan. Just go in the direction of his footprints on the ground to trigger the next scene.
Defeat the opponents
Tozan's secret is finally revealed. However, he won't go down without a fight! Defeat the opponents to proceed onwards.
Go to the Stadium of the Sacred Flame and report to the judge
After subduing the perpetrators, teleport near the Speaker's Chamber at the Stadium of the Sacred Flame to report the truth to Tenehua. This wraps up The Case of the Crafting Bench!
