Quest: #1 Lost in the Woods |
Feeling Like Fish Today! is a new world quest added in Version 5.0 and is available immediately after unlocking the Natlan region.
Go to the Dock Southeast of Teticpac Peak
The Feeling Like Fish Today! quest can be started by going to the small dock at the southeast side of Teticpac Peak. The quest will trigger immediately when you approach your Saurian companion sitting at the dock.
Feeling Like Fish Today! Walkthrough
Clean up the nearby waters
Clean up the nearby waters from the floating debris, so you can go fishing for your Saurian companion. The floating debris can be removed by approaching it or attacking it.
Note that the farthest floating debris from the docks will spawn a small cryo slime right after you clean it up.
Use the Koholasaur To Help You Clean Up
We recommend using Saurian Indwelling on the Koholasaur icon at the end of the docks to help you clean the nearby waters.
Wait for Paimon to fish
After cleaning up the nearby waters, a cutscene will trigger where you just watch and wait for Paimon to catch a fish.
Catch the fleeing fish
The fish Paimon caught will try to escape and you need to catch the fleeing fish because your Saurian companion really wants it. You can easily catch the fish by using the Koholasaur again.
The fleeing fish can be caught by going near it and pressing the button when the prompt comes up in your screen.
Bring the fish back to shore
Once you have caught it, bring the fish back to the shore and try to cook it for Paimon and your Saurian companion.

Feeling Like Fish Today! is a subquest of the quest chain, In the Footsteps of the Chosen of Dragons, which can be started by finding any of the subquests under it. The subquests' marker will not appear on the map, making them difficult to track.
