To unlock Moment of Awakening, you must have first completed the previous subquest of Lost Traveler in the Ashen Realm, The Other Side of The Sky!

Moment of Awakening Walkthrough
Track the evil dragon down
Immediately following the events from The Other Side of the Sky, track the evil dragon down by jumping down in an extremely deep pit, that extends all the way to an area that resembles the Night Kingdom.
Defeat the evil dragon
As you head inside, you'll see the evil dragon weakened from its injuries. After a cutscene involving Cocuik, defeat the evil dragon, who introduced itself as Och-Kan, the ruler of Tonatiuh. To defeat the evil dragon, simply bombard it with attacks, until you deplete its HP!
The Evil Dragon fortunately doesn't have any flashy attacks, and only has a single airborne attack which only lasts for a few seconds, and isn't target-locked!
Talk to the evil dragon
After defeating Och-Kan, talk to the evil dragon, and learn the truth behind Cocuik and Och-Kan. In a few while, the dragon offers to look for answers within Och-Kan's memories for you to experience first-hand what it means to live among humans.
Obtain the Golden Entreaty
Once the memory has been fully depleted, wake up and obtain the Golden Entreaty from Och-Kan before heading to Tonatiuh to check Bona's and your Saurian companion's condition.

Golden Entreaty
You can get a Golden Entreaty after completing the Moment of Awakening Quest. It will automatically be in your inventory after picking it up from the ground near the dragon towards the end of the quest.
