You can unlock Journey of Stars and Flames after completing the previous subquest of Act 5 of Chapter 5, As the Sun Rises and Sets quest!

Journey of Stars and Flames Walkthrough
Wait until two days later
Following the events from getting your Ancient Name, wait until two days, then go to the Stadium of the Sacred Flame to officially start the final battle against the Abyss.
Listen to Mavuika's speech
After you listen to Mavuika's speech, head to the Night Kingdom with the Pyro Archon. You have the option of talking to your companions before you talk to Mavuika once more to start heading into the deepest part of the Night Kingdom.
Explore up ahead
Talk to Mavuika once you're ready, then explore up ahead. You'll be playing Mavuika as a trial character during this round, so simply defeat opponents you encounter along the way. Keep in mind that Mavuika's kit doesn't have any kind of healing, so make sure to just bruteforce your way ahead!
Defeat all opponents
After defeating Ingemar as Mavuika, you'll regain control over the Traveler once again. As with the first phase of the domain, defeat all opponents you see.
This time, however, you'll encounter your previous fallen companions such as Atea from People of the Springs Tribe, Vichama and Mallko, as well as Bona and Cocouik, your friends whom you've met in Ochkanatlan during the Lost Traveler in the Ashen Realm world quest!

Talk to Guthred
As you continue deep within the Night Kingdom, you'll encounter Guthred, Capitano's second-in-command, who also came to your aid. After all the enemies have been defeated talk to Guthred, and continue forward. Unfortunately, your companions won't be able to tag along with you because of the limitations of Natlan's Ley Lines.
Go further in
Explore your way forward until you see Chasca's fallen sister, Chuychu, as well as a group of Saurians to help you. To go further in, indwell on Chuychu's Saurian companions, whose Spiritsconces you'll encounter along the way!

| 1 | After talking to Chuychu, indwell on the nearest Iktomisaurus Spiritsconce and use its Elemental Sight to reveal the hidden pathway in front of you. The pathway becomes invisible once more after the Elemental Sight ends, so simply re-toggle it as needed! |
| 2 | Once you've gotten across, continue forward until you see the three dragon statues facing each other. Simply use the Iktomisaurus' Elemental Sight first, then use its Elemental Skill directly at the symbol on the statue in the middle to make it disappear. |
| 3 | Lastly, use its Elemental Sight one last time to make the entire stone platform disappear to reveal the area below! |
| 4 | Then, indwell on the Qucusaurus Spiritsconce nearby, to traverse the flight course in front of you. It's a simple enough course, however make sure to always toggle your midair sprint to outfly the attack of the abyss! |
Try to continue onward
At the end of the flight course is an empty chamber where you'll encounter the echoes of the original heroes of Natlan. After receiving their blessing, follow the guidance to reach the destination, leading straight into the heart of the Night Kingdom!
