How to Unlock As the Sun Rises and Sets
Complete Subterranean Ruins
To unlock As the Sun Rises and Sets, you must have completed the previous subquest of Incandescent Ode of Resurrection, Subterranean Ruins!
Subterranean Ruins Quest Guide
As the Sun Rises and Sets Walkthrough
Go to the Speaker's Chamber to meet Mavuika
After conversing with Paimon, proceed to the Speaker's Chamber to meet Mavuika. Citlali and Xilonen are also inside, talking to Mavuika.
Invite Mavuika to Come Along With You
After speaking with Mavuika, Mualani and Kachina will arrive and invite you to a feast at People of the Springs. After the conversation, go to Mavuika's office in the back and invite her to the feast.
Go to the People of the Springs
Head to the People of the Springs to find Amina and Kinich, right in front of the stage.
Chat With Your Friends and Wait for the Feast to Begin
After the scene, you can explore the area and interact with the other characters. The character locations will be marked on your map, so go ahead and talk to them.
After speaking with at least three of them, you get the next objective; however, you may continue interacting with the remaining ones before progressing.
Go to the Venue and Wait for the Feast to Begin
After you've chatted with everyone, return to the specified spot to begin the feast.
Follow Ororon and Take Part in the Ceremony
After a lengthy scenario, you will need to follow Ororon to one of the cottages to take part in the ceremony. After speaking with Ororon and Mavuika, proceed back to the center to finish the feast.
Follow the Path to Escort Kachina Back to the Tribe
After the feast at the People of the Springs, you must accompany Kachina back to the Children of Echoes, but there will be several stops along the route before reaching the tribe.
The first stop is by the bridge in the Stadium; use the waypoint and speak with Kachina.
Continue Forward Along the Path
After conversing with Kachina, make your way back to the second stop where you initially met Toto, then follow the last marker near the tribe to find a Tepetlisaur.
Follow Hanwim and Talk to Ayo
Follow Hanwim back to its family; once there, speak with Ayo for another scene.
Take Kachina Back Home
After chatting with the Tepetlisaurus, teleport to the Children of Echoes Statue of Seven and bid Kachina farewell.
Check on How the Forging of the Ancient Name Is Going
Head within the tribe to Xilonen's house to see how the forging is progressing. Once there, approach Citlali and speak with her.
Test the Ancient Name Outside the Camp
After chatting with Citlali and Xilonen, proceed to the Sulfurous Veins to test the Ancient Name.
Talk to the Souls That Suddenly Appeared
Head to either Citlali or Xilone to start speaking with the souls.
Check on the Tepetlisaurus’s Condition
Following the scene with Ayo, approach Tepetlisaurus and Citlali to check on them.
The quest will conclude following the scene. Adjust your time to two days later to begin the next quest.
