In Pursuit of a Phantom
When you agreed to help Hu Tao and followed her to the Adventurers' Guild, you hadn't counted on becoming part of Wangsheng Funeral Parlor's business development
efforts. No topic is too sensitive for Hu Tao - certainly not matters of life and death - and even though some of her points make sense, you find them somewhat difficult to stomach. Then, when you voice your doubts about her approach, she tells you that she has long since moved on from business development to her next objective: finding someone called Big G.
In Pursuit of a Phantom Objectives
- Talk to Meng at Wangsheng Funeral Parlor and find out what happened
- Go to the exorcism site
- Protect the Ley Line Monolith and fend off the enemies
- Listen as Hu Tao tells Luocheng the truth about exorcism

Friendships, Wishes, and Regrets
Meng tells you that Big G is his childhood friend, who died by misadventure. Filled with regret and worry, Meng believes that due to a supernatural turn of events, Big G has become an evil spirit. Luocheng, another superstitious person who believes in ghost stories just like Meng, visits the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor seeking an exorcism. However, Hu Tao knows that the source of their worries is imaginary, so she comes up with an equally make-believe solution and organizes a fake exorcism. Surprisingly, the spirit of Big G appears before your eyes after the ritual.

- Return to Wangsheng Funeral Parlor and find out what happened
- Ask Little Wu for a keepsake
- Find Jueyun Chili and give it to Little Wu
- Ask Mumu for a keepsake
- Ask Congzi for a keepsake
- Talk to the Warehouse Manager
- Look for a Plaustrite Shard in the pile of goods
- Give the Plaustrite Shard to Congzi

Perfect Send-Off
It turns out that Big G's spirit was attracted by the exorcism. Upon learning that Big G has not become a malevolent spirit and simply wanted to check on Meng and other childhood friends, Hu Tao decides to fulfill his wish and organize a farewell ceremony for him. To give him peace of mind, you collect keepsakes and well-wishes that Big G's childhood friends prepared for him. The only thing left now is to send him off.
Perfect Send-Off Objectives
- Take the keepsakes to Wuwang Hill and give them to Hu Tao
- Go to the "ordinary place" mentioned by Hu Tao
- Follow the path to the border
- Talk to Hu Tao while the old friends are reminiscing
- Go back to Wuwang Hill to send Big G off

| 3 |  Head to the marker and adjust the camera angle to complete the symbol. |
| 4 |  Defeat the Cryo Slimes that appear. |
| 5 |  Use Pyro Skill to activate the elemental monument and ride the wind current. |
| 6 |  Bring the first blue orb to the lantern near the door |
| 7 |  Stand near the glowing marker and adjust the camera angle again to complete the symbol so you can get the second blue orb. |
| 8 |  In the room with two stone lanterns and only one blue orb, take the blue orb and head to the path with the spider blocking your way and follow it all the way until you're back in the same room. Once there, bring the blue orb that you have to one of the stone lanterns and take the new blue orb to the second stone lantern. |
| 9 |  Jump all the way down into the water and just keep following the path. |
| 10 |  Talk to Hu Tao then open the chest before exiting the domain. |
| 11 |  Head to the marker at Wuwang Hill. |

Recommended Party
During the quest, you will have to defeat Hilichurls and Slimes. You will have Hu Tao as your Pyro for the domain part of the quest, so it would be nice to bring other elements.
Having a party with one Pyro, Hydro, and Electro will make sure you're ready for any enemy.

Similar to Xiao, Hu Tao's skill will decrease her HP whenever you use it, so having a healer in your party is highly recommended.
How to Get Out of the Loop in the Domain
One part of the domain will having you looping a certain area.
In order to end the loop, take the blue orb but don't place it in one of the stone lanterns yet, instead go ahead and follow the path with the spider blocking the way. Keep going until you make it back to the room with two lanterns and you will find that another blue orb has appeared.
Place the orb that you're carrying into one of the stone lanterns and pick up the new blue orb and place it into the second stone lantern.
Explain the Misunderstanding to Meng Bug
During the Story Quest, Meng may disappear during one of the objectives and some players won't be able to continue on with the quest.
This developers are already aware of this issue and are working to resolve this. If you encounter the issue, you can let them know via the in-game Feedback page.
