Collect Sand Grease Pupa Under the Weathered Rocks

The majority of these pupas are buried under breakable boulders known as weathered rocks, which are located primarily in the southeast portion of the desert. To break the rock, you must first draw in roaming wenuts and then use their attack to break it and reveal the Sand Grease Pupa underneath.

Players can easily farm Sand Grease Pupa by going to the Wenut Tunnels east of the Desert of Hadramaveth. Luckily, there are many entrances to the caves. You can also find some Pupa in the surface!

Note that farming Sand Grease Pupa on the surface of the desert has roaming Wenuts. These Wenuts pop out of the sand and attack you at intervals so be careful!

No.	Location
1-5	Southwest of the desert, climb up the cliffs of The Temples Forsaken or Safhe Shatranj. Once above, you can find five Sand Grease Pupa near the rocks, which are also protected by a burrowing Wenut.
6-9	Head northeast of the waypoint at Wadi Al-Majuj, then head up to the cliffside once more to find 4 Sand Grease Pupa.
10-13	From the previous location above, head north to find 4 more Sand Grease Pupa.
14-18	Teleport to the waypoint at the Wounded Shin Valley left of Mt. Damavand. Climb up the cliff to see 5 Sand Grease Pupa near the Fungi enemies.
19-23	Teleport to the Waypoint located southeast of the Sands of Three Canals, where 5 Sand Grease Pupas can be seen by the roadside.
24-29	Going north from the Tanit Camps, follow the road until you see the Eremite Campsite. Six Sand Grease Pupa can be obtained near a ruin.

Underground Wenut Tunnels Farming Routes

The Wenut Tunnels are the best place to get a lot of Sand Grease Pupas in one location. This farming route will lead you to hidden cavern in these tunnels, but we'll show you how to get in there too!

No.	Location
30-31	Teleport to the Waypoint north of the Passage of Ghouls and go down to the bottom of the cliff, where two Sand Grease Pupa can be seen located.
32-35	From the Teleport Waypoint north of the Passage of Ghouls, make your way down to the cave entrance where two Pyro Whopperflowers are. Head inside and follow the path to get to four Sand Grease Pupas.
36-40	Walk further and head left to the side of the Setekh Wenut boss arena where Sand Grease Pupas #36 to #40 are located.
41-43	Continue circling the perimeter of the Setekh Wenut's boss arena until you get to three Sand Grease Pupas. They will be by the second path from the left, where a Seelie would be placed.
44-50	You can use the Teleport Waypoint right below the Setekh Wenut boss icon. Head inside the cave and follow the path to collect up to six Sand Grease Pupa! Beware of the Consecrated Serpent and other enemies. You can also get here through the Setekh Wenut boss arena.
51-56	From the Setekh Wenut boss arena, take the corridor beside Sand Grease Pupas #41-43 and follow the path, where you will encounter Fungi enemies. Sand Grease Pupas will line the walls along with various ores.
57-58	Keep following the path, and you will encounter Sand Grease Pupas #57 and #58 just before entering a cavern with a Stonehide Lawachurl inside.
59-61	Just inside the cavern with the Stonehide Lawachurl in the center are three Sand Grease Pupas that you can collect!
62	Directly to the side of the hole revealed by a small stone pile, a Sand Grease Pupa is located beside a locked Dendro monument and a puzzle.
63-65	Walk the perimeter of the cavern until you come across three Sand Grease Pupas near a pathway blocked by vines!
66-69	Four more Sand Grease Pupas can be found near the sides of this cavern.
70	Sand Grease Pupa #70 is located on the other side of the pathway blocked by vines, behind some bushes.
71-74	Teleport to the Waypoint north of the Sands of Al-Azif and glide down to once again enter the Wenut Tunnels. You can follow the path until you come across the last four Sand Grease Pupas.

Sand Grease Pupa Respawn Time

Respawn Time is 48 Hours

Sand Grease Pupa reset exactly 48 hours after you collect them. Relog the game or teleport from the farthest waypoint and check the location once more to see it spawn.

If you're only farming Sand Grease Pupas in your own world, you need at least six days to collect enough to max out a character.
